i saw Cole Carson is graduating and leaving, hes from a small 2A school up here in east texas. always wondered if he would be able to make that jump but don't think he ever played. figured he would have gone into the portal last year and moved down to try to play some.

I'm really trying hard not to get my hopes up. When i saw Stovall got hurt i really started thinking here we go again. If Hagan and Tygart can stay healthy this team could make some noise. hopefully the transfer from Sac st Aloy is as good as advertised too.

Hagan was already out by the time i got the game on but other than that i thought they looked pretty good for opening weekend and the cold weather. Molina from texas tech i thought looked really good and the transfer CF Wilmsmeyer from Mizzou i thought looked good also. Still trying to not get my hopes up.

they sure had him replaced quick. don't hate the hire but would really like to see someone with more ties to Texas or Louisiana. maybe that doesn't matter as much anymore i do see Mateos name show up at schools over here at least.

I may be totally wrong but why in the world would Muss leave for SMU? I get it if he left for Louisville or UCLA or maybe some big brand school but not SMU. I know theyre going to the ACC and theyve been doing the NIL thing for 40+ years now but it just doesnt seem like a legit rumor.
