EnjoyLife
If this equipment could not be removed why wasn't it destroyed? Im guessing that is equipment the US supplied to the Afghan army so it was not technically ours? In WWII the British navy attacked the French fleet while it was in port following the French surrender to prevent the vessels from falling into enemy hands. Seems a similar action would have been justified this time also.

Your guess would be wrong on several accounts .... first of all, most, if not all of it, could have and should have been recovered and redeployed .... some items, protective personal equipment and low cost supplies could have been left with the Afghans, but certainly not heavy equipment, vehicles, helicopters, airplanes, heavy munitions .... especially anything sensitive or classified .... billions of dollars worth of military assets should have not been left behind .... but let's talk about first things first .... Plug's was under no timeline obligation or redeployment plan like he tries to float .... he knew for months what he was going to to .... his inept military leadership should have gotten all that equipment out .... but anybody with half a brain should have gotten all the civilians out first ... Duh .... the military should have started shipping assets out of there long before they started ... all the civilians should have been escorted out protected by our military .... we should have never let the airport be overrun by the enemy ... we should have maintained control of the airport and we should still be in control of it ... there is no excuse for this complete screw up that is all on Plugs and his inept gutless woke military leadership .... Plugs handled this foul up completely bass ackwards .... Edited March 28, 2023 by KirtFalcon yo mama

I do not have a problem with anything you said...it was a failure on Bidens part...a failure on US military leaderships part...and a failure on the Afghan National Armys part.

The initial "war" was justified ... not our involvement in the aftermath with all the nation building ..... there is no doubt in my mind that they had WMDs ... we screwed around and let them and Russia move them to Syria before we hit them ... it turned into a long term political debacle .... still nowhere near as bad as Afghanistan .....
