Shedeur Sanders is my dark horse Heisman pick, and I'll be rooting for nothing less than a Pac 12 title this season.

With the Heisman Trophy turning into a hyped popularity contest .... I'd say he is on the inside track to win it at this point ..... He's an outstanding player but all he really has to do is stay competitive and in the limelight and he will get a lot of votes based on his name alone .....

I agree with nearly everything you've said but the Heisman part. I think Travis Hunter (because of the crazy two-way stuff) has a chance, but I think Sanders stealing some of those votes may cost both.

Oh man, you're preaching to the choir, I am totally on board with someone other than a QB or RB winning the award.

In my view, Hunter is easily the early favorite, but apparently the media has decided that it's the "incumbent's" trophy to lose this year. Which is incredibly lame.

USC plays such a weak schedule, he will probably win it without even making the playoffs .... it's all media hype .....

I could understand it last year...  I mean, he was literally the difference in USC being 11-3 and not 7-7.

What I don't agree with is him being the presumptive winner this year.

If Travis Hunter can keep up the pace he has set and be successful, he should win the Heisman. Woodson set the standard and should still be the measuring stick.

I think Sanders has a better shor at it than Hunter .... but the prima Donna from USC has the inside track ....

There is a reason Griffin is the only two time winner. I don't know what it is, but history has shown the voters don't want a back to back recipient.

Colorado will lose 3-4 games. That doesn’t surprise anyone but the first three weeks have been fun.

Deion’s downfall will come a lot sooner than people think if he continues to turn this into the celebrity filled sideshow we saw last night. Completely unfocused and undisciplined for the majority of the game last night. I know they won, but if that continues, teams like Oregon, USC, Utah, UCLA, Oregon State, and Wazzu St are going to take them to the woodshed and beat ‘em like they owe them money.

Their defense is bad.  They are missing a lot of playmakers on that side of the ball.  Right now, their offense looks like they can score on every drive

I wouldn’t be surprised if Colorado upsets either Oregon or USC. That offense is so effective. However, the defense will struggle against both of those two offenses. Having there do everything player out will hurt . The buffs realistically can go 8-4 if healthy.

Oregon , USC, Utah , Oregon State are the favorites.

Oh for sure. The Colorado State game showed some glaring weaknesses. It's still a remarkable turnaround for year one, especially coming off a 1-11 season.

No, they won't win out. And they're probably gonna get boatraced by a couple deeper, more physical and disciplined squads.

All I want is for CU to win a shootout over USC. The rest of the games are gravy.  :woot:

They can't run the ball to save their lives. That's why Shedeur throws for 400 a game😅

^^^  This.

Right now they're averaging 2 yard per rush, and 61 yards per game.

Shedeur is talented enough to keep them in it against so-so competition.

But the first physical, well-coached team they play they're gonna get routed.

Barring an injury or complete melt down, with USC's weak schedule, it's going to be tough not making him the front runner, and at least a finalist ....

man, they kinda looked tame once Travis Hunter got hurt...I thought Edwards (RB) was better than he's shown the last two games...starting to not get any yards. they're gonna have to find a way to get him balls past the line of scrimmage (a little slot, crossing behind the LB's trying to just find another gash).
