Bullard did play hard and a good clean game! Best of luck to em!

I agree. They have improved and can be a playoff team with the same type of effort as shown last night. I was also impressed with their crowd support and the atmosphere at last night’s game. Best of luck to the Panthers.

Edwards had a great game for CHS. And he couldn’t do it without the O-line, which seems to be adjusting well to the change in personnel necessitated by an injury. Greatness is attainable for the D, but foolish penalties need to be eliminated in order to get there.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the two Jr DL were more effective last year playing at 270-280 than they are this year at 300+?

You could be right but I think is more about the three tackling machines missing from last year. Kobata, Dontae, and can’t remember the other.
Last year the D line made it possible for them to shoot the gaps.
This years linebackers are getting better and by the playoffs they will be season vets.

I think they were in the 285 range last year…….So far, in my eyes, I do not see a drop off with the added weight…..but I don’t see a jump in production from sophs to jrs either…..in my eyes, they are about equal to last year.

I don’t know about those two, but #70 has certainly stepped up his game.

The two starting outside linebackers are both sophomores, so they indeed can be expected to get better and better. And both have good size.
