Malakoff

Judd Miller 15'-17', 16' semi finals with two all-state receivers

Darion Peace 18'-20', 18' finals runner up

Mike Jones 22'-present, 22' semi finals

All three qbs have been a blessing to Koff. Hard to pick which one is better than the other, imo.

Marshall

Old Timer YA Tittle LSU-49ers-NY Giants NFL Hall of Fame

modern era

Benny Valentine 1988 Undefeated (lost to Dallas Carter in the quarter finals 22-18 , Jessie Armstead scored with :17 left. Carter had to forfeit their entire season and that left Marshall the only undefeated team in 5A football . Marshall would have played Odessa Permian the next week in the Semi Finals and Marshall had already beated Permian earlier in the season. Converse Judson was awarded the title even though they were trounced by Carter in the title game. Marshall would have won the title if Carter would have be not allowed to play in the playoffs to begin with as the rules stated. Marshall got their revenge on Judson in 1990 beating them for the title in the Astrodome) Valentine went on to play at Tulane and then reunited with Dennis Parker at UNT and played QB

Pine Tree Pirates - Matt Dixon - he would later be drafted by the Detroit Tigers, but threw his arm out in the minors and never got called up.  His son Joey was drafted in the 7h round out of Stanford by the Astros.

School?

Canadian. A little north and a little west of East Texas. Had full ride offer from Tulsa, but went to OU as a preferred walk on. Never saw many reps, but is still on staff and helping to call plays now.

1. Cole Watson left when he completed the 10th grade

2. Trace Carter won our first state championship with him running the triple option

3. Dylan Harkrider won second state championship with him running the triple option

4. Shake and Bake Moore went three deep in 1993

Winnsboro - Kyler Finney

Pretty positive he has broken every passing, touchdown, and rushing record for the QB position in the schools history, if not every position. 5k yards last season and on track for the same this year. I don’t see it getting beat for many many years to come.

While at Longview, definitely has to be Haynes King. Not even really close honestly. Holds practically ever passing record there is for the Lobos, not to mention help lead Longview to the 2018 title at the state’s highest level.

After playing at Longview, well that’s a different story.

Killing it at Georgia Tech currently. Leads the ACC in passing. Glad he got out of that mess in College Station.

Haynes is the goat.

After him, I'd go Aaron Johnson, Joel Armstrong, Bivins Caraway and Pete Robertson in that order.

1976 and 1977 Lobos QB was pretty darn good.
