RETIREDFAN1 Posted October 23, 2023 Author Share Posted October 23, 2023 The School Pizza Recipe- Don't Lose This Recipe Ingredients Crust: 2-2/3 cup flour 3/4 cup powdered milk 2 T sugar 1 package quick rise yeast 1 tsp salt 1-2/3 cup warm water (110-115) 2 T vegetable oil Filling: 1/2 lb Italian sausage 1/2 lb ground chuck 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1 (8oz) block mozzarella cheese Sauce (I make the day before): 1 (6oz) can tomato paste 1 1/2 cups water 1/3 cup olive oil 2 cloves garlic minced 1 t salt 1 tsp pepper 1/2 T dried oregano 1/2 T dried basil 1/2 t dried rosemary Steps Crust: Preheat oven to 475. Spray 18 x 13 sheet pan with Pam and lay parchment paper down. Add flour, powered milk, sugar, yeast, and salt to a large bowl. Whisk to blend. Add oil to warm water. Pour into flour mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until batter forms. Donโt worry about lumps - you just want no dry spots. Spread dough onto sheet pan with fingertips until even. If the dough doesnโt want to cooperate then let it rest for 5 min and try again. Bake just the crust for 8-10 min. Remove from oven and set aside. filling: Brown meats (add salt and pepper) until it resembles crumbles. Drain, set aside. Get out sauce. To partially baked crust assemble: Spread sauce all over crust. Sprinkle meats. Sprinkle cheese. Bake at 475 for 8-10 min. Until cheese starts to brown. Let stand 5 min, cut into slices and serve. RETIREDFAN1 Posted October 24, 2023 Author Share Posted October 24, 2023 TURTLE CAKE Ingredients 1 cup chocolate chips 2 cups pecans 3/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 (14 ounce) bags caramels 1 1/3 cups water ( or as called for by your cake mix) 1/3 cup oil ( or as called for by your cake mix) 3 eggs ( or as called for by your cake mix) 1 (18 ounce) boxes German chocolate cake mix Directions Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour 1/2 of the batter in a 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool. In a double boiler, add carmels, milk and butter and stir constantly till melted. Pour melted carmel over cooling cake. Sprinkle on top 1 cup of pecans& chocolate chips. Pour remaining batter on top and bake for an additional 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and let cool. Then pour your broth on top of it. Next, place your soup, stuffing, and water into a bowl, mix it together and spoon it on top of your chicken. Cook the ingredients on the low setting for seven hours. When you come back to your pot youโll have a tasty moist chicken breast and the best stuffing youโve ever had. RETIREDFAN1 Posted November 1, 2023 Author Share Posted November 1, 2023 Kid friendly, cheap casserole my family started making in the 90's. 3/4 - 1 pound hamburger 2 boxes of mac n cheese 2 small onionsย 1/2 medium bell pepperย 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 can of diced tomatoes (drain if you want a cheesier flavor)ย 2 tablespoons of light margarine 1/2 cup of milk Black pepper Toss onion, bell pepper, and hamburger in a skillet. Add black pepper. Brown well and drain.ย In a large pot, put enough water to cook your macaroni. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni but only cook them for 7 minutes after the water is boiling! Drain the water.ย Put the drained macaroni back in the large pot, add the margarine, dump the 2 powdered cheese packets, and stir. Add the milk and stir. Add the cream of mushroom soup, add the diced tomatoes, and add the hamburger. Stir. Cook until warm. Do not boil or over cook (your macaroni will be mush).ย (For a cheesier version, you can add a few slices of cheese near the end.) RETIREDFAN1 Posted November 1, 2023 Author Share Posted November 1, 2023 Grilled Cheeseburger Wraps Ingredients 2 tbsp Ketchup 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 pound ground beef 1 tsp minced onion, dried Salt and pepper to taste 5 large tortillas, 10 to 12 inches Lettuce Cheese (shredded or sliced American) Tomato slices mustard Instructions FIRST STEP: Crumble and brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain the grease from the pan Add Worcestershire Sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper and minced onion to the ground beef SECOND STEP: After you grill the tortillas, unroll them and place a strip of cheese down the center of each tortilla Add a couple of heaping spoonfuls of ground beef mix on top of the cheese THIRD STEP: Drizzle some mustard on the ground beef Add a couple of slices of tomato Roll the tortilla up, burrito style FOURTH STEP: Place each rolled-up tortilla onto the grill to heat up the tortilla, turning a half turn every minute Flip and grill the other side the same way FIFTH STEP: When ready to serve, carefully remove the tortilla from the grill, carefully unroll and add some shredded lettuce. RETIREDFAN1 Posted November 3, 2023 Author Share Posted November 3, 2023 Tamale Casseroleย 2 small boxes Jiffy Cornbread mix *2 eggs ย *2/3 C milk 2 lbs ground beef 2 cans red enchilada sauce 2 C taco/Mexican blend shredded cheese Taco seasoningย Salt Spray 9X13 pan Preheat oven to 350ยฐ In a medium bowl combine cornbread mix, milk and eggs and pour batter into prepared pan, bake at 350ยฐ for 20-25 minutes, just until middle is set and top is light golden brown. Poke holes in the cornbread with a spoon handle and pour 1 can of enchilada sauce over the top. In a large skillet brown the ground beef, seasoned with salt, Drain all grease then return beef to skillet, mix in taco seasoning and a little water. Simmer meat for 10 minutes. Stir in 1 can enchilada sauce. Pour meat mixture over cornbread and spread evenly then top with shredded cheese and bake at 350ยฐ for 6-8 minutes. Manwich Casserole Had all ingredients on hand Quick & easy!! 1 lb hamburger meat 1 can manwich 2 cups pasta 2 cups shredded cheese (I probably used less than 1/2 cup bc my daughter doesnโt like alot of cheese) โขBrown meat & drain oil โขMix in manwich while meats still hot & pour into bowl โขMix in a handful (or whatever to your liking) of cheese โขBoil pasta/drain/ add/mix into meat mixture โขPour mixture into casserole dish โขSprinkle cheese on top โขPreheat oven to 350ยฐ โขBake 30-35 min **Pic taken before baking* Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RETIREDFAN1 Posted November 7, 2023 Author Share Posted November 7, 2023 Cowboy Cornbread Casserole 2 packs 59ยข cornbread mix 1.5 lbs ground beef 1 can rotel 1 can whole kernel corn 1 can ranch style beans 1 cup shredded cheese 1 pack taco seasoning Mix cornbread according to package instructions then set aside Preheat oven 425ยฐ Brown ground beef, drain. Add taco seasoning, undrained can rotel, undrained ranch style beans and drained corn. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir into cornbread mix. ย Mix in shredded cheese. Stir completely. RETIREDFAN1 Posted February 9 Author Share Posted February 9 BEEF ENCHILADA CASSEROLE INGREDIENTS 1 ยฝ lbs ground beef 1 onion finely chopped 2 cloves garlic minced 2 cups enchilada sauce 1 can (15 ounces) black beans drained and rinsed. 1 can (7 ounces) diced green chiles drained 12โ14 flour or corn tortillas 1 ยผ cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 ยผ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1 avocado peeled, seeded diced 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 cup diced tomato 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 1 jalapeno seeded and minced INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch casserole with nonstick cooking spray for ease in cleaning. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. When the ground beef is about halfway browned, add the onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Reduce heat to low. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring continuously. Drain any excess grease. Add 1 1/4 cups enchilada sauce, black beans, and green chiles; cook for 1-2 minutes while stirring to combine. Spread 2 tablespoons of enchilada sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish. RETIREDFAN1 Posted April 4 Author Share Posted April 4 goulash recipe.ย 1 lb ground beef, browned 1 can stewed or diced tomatoes (undrained), mashed up with a fork or potato masher 1 can tomato soup 1 package sloppy joe seasoning A few pinches of parsley Cooked macaroni (I usually make about 3/4 of a 16 oz box) Brown hamburger, mix in mashed up tomatoes, tomato soup, sloppy joe seasoning and parsley, let simmer while macaroni cooks. RETIREDFAN1 Posted April 6 Author Share Posted April 6 Saw this in another meal group thought I'd share Chinese Spaghetti โข 1/2 lb. ground beef โข 2 garlic cloves, minced โข 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (we use 'Kraft Smooth') โข 2 cups chicken broth, heated โข 1 1/2 TBSP brown sugar, firmly packed โข 2 TBSP white vinegar โข 2 TBSP soy sauce โข 1/2 tsp. ground ginger โข 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes โข 1 lb. (500g small box/package) spaghetti pasta noodles (or Lo Mein noodles or Linguine noodles) โข green onions, chopped, for garnish Serves 4 to 6 1. In a large deep skillet, brown the ground beef with the garlic. Drain off any grease if necessary. 2. Add the peanut butter and HOT chicken broth, along with the brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and red pepper flakes to the ground beef. 3. Stir well and heat to boiling until the peanut butter turns into a solution. 4. Then lower the heat and simmer, uncovered for about 8 to 10 minutes as it gradually thickens. Stir occasionally. 5. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti noodles in boiling water. We usually find that 8 minutes does it 'al dante'. 6. When the spaghetti is cooked, drain but do not rinse and add the noodles to the ground beef/peanut butter sauce and mix well, letting it cool for 3 or 4 minutes. 7. Add chopped greens to the top of each serving and enjoy! Geoff's Notes: - You can make this recipe meatier by using 1 lb. ground beef or make it with no ground beef at all as a vegetarian dish or side dish. - If making as a vegetarian dish, then I suggest to substitute the chicken broth with vegetable broth. - To quickly heat the chicken broth, I use the microwave and heat it on HIGH for 2 minutes in a glass bowl. - I also find that once the chicken broth has been heated, I like to then add the peanut butter, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and red pepper flakes to the bowl of broth and then add that to the cooked ground beef in the skillet, mixing it thoroughly before bringing it to a boil ย Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Boil ramen noodles as usual In a separate pan add butter, garlic, red crushed pepper, soy sauce and brown sugar to your taste( I did not measure either ingredients) Once melted and into a sauce, drain noodles and mix together in pan. Push noodles to the side, add a scrambled egg Once egg is cooked mix together. Pour in a bowl and sprinkle chives and everything bagel seasoning!
