I will say this about Grinch though. He is not a great recruiter, but he did improve Oklahoma’s defense from what he inherited from Mike Stoops. I am just not sure his philosophy is going to work consistently in Power 5 football. In defense of Grinch (never thought I'd say that) but I do believe his style could work in a program with better S&C and a more complimentary style of play on offense.
