We are all believers In against Carthage. Reality can be a little different. I recommend alcohol but that just me.

Am I the only one that believes Lion70(00) has become a closeted Bulldog! It took a few years but I believe he’s made the jump! Welcome aboard.

I will add the running backs for Carthage were better. KJ rushed for 292 yards.

We don’t really know the answer to that statement because PG chose to run their QB 35 times vs letting their two RB’s have the ball.  #1 McFadden picked up a TCU offer this week after TAMU hired the Duke Coach.

What were the PG QB’s rushing stats last week?

Those were reads, would be my guess.

They were “roll out and see if anyone is open, if not run it” reads.  Very little reads with RB involved.  Strange offensive strategy.

Several plays the QB would put ball in the RB belly and ride it.  He pulled and ran.  It’s a simple zone read, inverted veer, one read give or pull.

I was semi impressed with the athletes, but not the offensive strategy.  They stretched the field intentionally once, a scramble deep throw once and the rest of the passes were a moving pocket and routes condensed to one side of the field. You could tell the offense was simplified for easy reads with pull it and go as a last option.  The qb was a good athlete, just not a qb.  They never attacked the middle of the field that I remember.
