They lost 4 of their first 5 games…but they’re still alive.

yeah I've seen a lot of their fans saying they will take Carthage down this year but just wasn't sure how they are this year vs last year.  That QB graduated didn't he?

How is Glen Rose looking this season? I have seen their scores but not actually watched them.

They lost about all of their playmakers to graduation last year. They are not near as good as last year. They are in a rebuilding year but they are still alive and playing.

I dont think Glen Rose wins this next week against West Plains...if West Plains and Carthage play thats gonna be a LONG road trip

Ouch, you are right about the possible road trip!

Funny fact - I have family in Carthage and family in Glen Rose. Christmas was quite awkward last year to say the least.

I think West Plains is going to want something further west...my guess would be somewhere in Ft Worth area or west

Abilene is very popular out west. Probably the best unless they use Midland/odessa assuming they win a flip. Carthage probably picks the star as their home option. Waco would be more ideal .

If I am the West Plains coach I’m not agreeing to a 4 team lock unless it’s outside.  They ain’t afraid to travel, that’s a given.  But they are better off making a team like Carthage play in the wind, rain, cold.

What kind of offense do they run, I wonder? They are probably used to playing in the wind!

Shotgun/spread……QB can sling it……lots of motion before the play……several different looks from spread in backfield…….even if no pre snap motion, they often have a slot do misdirection after the snap.
