My youngest daughter just played in the Brookshires Tournament this past weekend.  8u girls division and they put her team with the academy select bracket.  Was pretty intense, you don't show up and get after it you'll get run off the field.  Had 200+ teams total for all divisions boys and girls.  Teams were from everywhere.

I have honestly never watched soccer on TV.  My daughter wanted to give it a try in Pre-K and she's played every fall/spring since.  She's pretty good and we have already been suggested/recommended for FC club ball, but that's not really for us.  Never thought it would happen, but I enjoy watching it.  It's way more intense/physical than people realize.
