Can I ask the question without getting crucified by the Longview people?

It is time for King to retire?

You won’t get crucified. People wanted him gone before he coached his first game as head coach at Longview. He’s the easiest target every year, so you’ll have a lot of agreement.

I mean no Tatum and no Tutt was big but Longview still had this one in hand

Tutt played. Tatum didn't but I don't think they were decimated. Longview just gonna Longview...as I've read some say on here

Horrible playcalling in second half - unbelievable. Still should have at least got to OT if we hold on to the ball or dont drop the easy int after that

I mean, even with one guy out, you can consider that to be decimated. When that one dude is one of the top rbs in the nation. Especially when you are in a close game. Then you add the teams mental deflation and loss of confidence that goes along with that.

He wins...

Maybe it's the crappy districts Longview gets put in but he has won for 20 straight years. He's earned the right to name his day. I'll give him that credit. But I would like that comparisons to him and that other guy little south of Longview to stop because it's not really close...IMO

Yep. Left a huge hole.

Still, as people mentioned, got way too conservative, made too many mistakes, and just didn’t play well. Lancaster made adjustments and they’re a team with athletes. They played a tough schedule and got better because of it.

Looking like we were opening up the offense in the second quarter te long TD catch and big te catch to set up a TD run they classic land a egg in second half

Tatum injured wrist last game, had surgery was done for the season for some reason they kept it quiet.

I think we’re all tired of King losing close games when the season is on the line, look back at the playoff losses guarantee most of them were close losses where we didn’t put the game away

All my people on Facebook from Longview keep talking about fire king  I mean yall run the same offense that been working can’t be that bad….i  don’t think the qb was that great imo maybe Tatum in game would been different

It is what it is. Like I said, when he was named head coach, people wanted him gone. Some haven’t changed in 20 years. Objectively, he got too conservative this game and has a few times over the years.

But I’d love to see who people want to run this team.

1 interception all season long until the long pass with time expired tonight, what he do wrong? QB didn’t lose the game the game was over when our tailback fumbled the ball, if we gone be conservative why not just kneel the ball cause they were out of TO’s, I don’t understand Kings logic some time

Forney will kill Lancaster. Aledo will kill Forney. Aledo will easily win State again. Shame.

The last time they played, Lancaster had 440 yds of offense and limited Forney to right over 200 yds. Going to be a better game than you think.

I watched it. They missed a PAT in overtime. I just don’t see them hanging with Forney.
