Do any of these players not play both ways?

PG has developed more depth than in years past.  I’d say all except #18 will see action on both sides of the ball tomorrow, but not every snap or even every series.  Conditioning isn’t going to be the reason Carthage wins, if they do.

C&C - the PG OL are all Sr’s, unless the Center can’t go and his replacement is a Soph.  The backup is a big ‘ole boy but man that’s a tough ask to go head up vs a 300+ lb DT every snap, get the OL blocking scheme called, get the snap back to the QB, and then go block.  it’s a defining moment for sure.

Saw video of them practicing yesterday.  I think it was 76, may have been 75, practicing at center also.

Tyler would not been a bad option but lobo ticketing situation sucks and also so does visiter side as for as bathrooms and concessions

I agree the visitors ticketing, and concessions and restrooms are terrible at Longview. Even the home side back behind the bleachers is very congested not my favorite place to go watch a game but it does seat over 9000. Hallsville seats over 8000.

Even if they do, the Dawgs have to make them pay for it. If they are linemen, we have to wear them out running the ball. Skill players are a little harder to wear down. Sustained drives on offense will be the key. If Carthage can't sustain drives, the fact that they play both sides of the ball won't be a big deal.

Agreed.

The PG QB will be making a lot of tackles and getting lit up when he runs the ball. The Dawgs will definitely be the most physical team that PG has faced all year. If the Dawgs don’t turn the ball over or have stupid 15 yard penalties they will win this game.

I am afraid there will be plenty of penalties against Carthage. There have been every game this season, some earned a lot bogus. Last year against PG, PG got away with murder, obvious PI, facemarks, late hits out of bounds - text book obviously penalties that a toddler could have called. Carthage couldn't look at PG wrong without getting flagged. I expect the same tomorrow.  Carthage will have to be absolutely perfect tomorrow in every phase of the game. PG has a lot of advantage on their side.  A majority of PG fans are guaranteeing a victory and Gibson has said he has taken every necessary step to guarantee that PG will win. whatever the means.

U keep saying the same crap and not backing up any of it. Where do u see the MAJORITY of PG fans saying anything and how do you what the majority is.  If anything, the majority are only saying we have a chance.

That’s the idea of coaching

then you need to go on other forums and do some research. I am not doing your homework for you. And by majority it is a majority of posts weighing in on the game. From what I have read Carthage has no chance and should stay home and binge on turkey Friday.  Not sure why you are afraid to admit that PG coaches, players and fans have no respect for Carthage whatsoever.

I like Pleasant Grove and want them to win when they’re not playing Carthage.

The year PG won state several of us Bulldog fans stayed after our championship game and watched PG win their title, and we were pulling for The Grove all the way.

I don’t know much about Gibson other than he’s elevated that program above its traditional output much like Surratt & Co have done for Carthage.

Two top tier programs going at it tomorrow!

Go Dawgs!
