I mean I know PG pushes the envelope A LOT when it comes to rules and pretty much does whatever they want, but still.... If he actually moved into the district then don't think there is a issue there is a week or 2 they have to wait but I think that's it as long as move is not contested

Usually the year sit out is only for transfers not actual move ins I'm pretty sure I could be wrong though

It's funny how none of this was mentioned last year and all of the sudden the week of the rematch, 'oh we had major players out last year that is why we lost.' LOL - ok Sparky whatever. Even if those players would have played the outcome would have been the same. They are delusional.
JBizzle
I expect the defenses to rule this game. I think the first half will be pretty low scoring. I think the halftime adjustments will make a difference and Carthage will find a way to win. Carthage if only by 1!

Even if those players would have played the outcome would have been the same. They are delusional. I've never said "we" Never said "that's why.." Never said the outcome would have been different. I've actually acknowledged the outcome would have been the same however the impact high performing players have on a game, at any level is, at the very least, worth mentioning. AND this is NOT the first time it has been said, it's just the first time you have seen it... But because they are again playing, and the question was asked what's different. This, this is what's different. And with the addition of those players, the game would have been more competitive. Carthage has the best "D" line in the state. PG's front has not faced the size and strength these guys have, all year. It will be a long night however, only one of PG's lineman plays both ways and that is the tight end. This too, is different from last year.

itsjustfootball
So sounds like depth is no longer an issues for PG? Earlier in the season they had a lot of players playing both ways now only 1?

Senior starters in the secondary were CB Kendrick Harper and safeties Jekerrian Roquemore and Zsema’d Williams.

God knows he has sold his soul and crossed every line imaginable to get to where he is. As stacked as this year's team is if he can't win tomorrow he should be on the hot seat. Knowing how badly he has disrespected and screwed over the Carthage program this year as far as refusing to honor their 2 year agreement with jr high and sub varsity games, I lost what little respect I had for the man. Total dick move but 100% on brand. I want Carthage to get it done but it will be a tall order. Carthage is SO young, not as stacked and experienced as the Texarkana All Stars. I personally lost respect for this coach several years ago. I was hoping the rumor of him going back to the Dallas area was truth. Unfortunately it wasn't.
