They have a d lineman number 99 and he’s a freakin monster and he’s quick. Bellvilie seems to be a well disciplined team to.

Yeah, I think he is around 290

We went to papacitas after the game and there were several pg fans along with Carthage fans there.  The table across from us when the waitress asked a table of pg fans how the game went and the first thing that came out of their mouth was we got cheated  lol 😂 I laughed so hard

I ate at Butcher Shop in Longview, Texas. Saw people from PG and told them what great game. 1st words out of their mouth was yes except for all the bad calls and no calls against us. I immediately said oh you mean where your coach told your players to call out the snap count or the holding that never got called against PG. Bunch of cry babies. The referee let them play, could of called a lot penalties on both teams

My offensive player of the game for Carthage goes to #22……..Guy has probably always been a starter but this year hasn’t got a ton of playing time…….Today he plays both tailback and fullback and does a great job at both 👍👍

they are used to preferential treatment from their 12th man in stripes, which they did for all the crap they were doing that never got flagged. But this time it didn't also result in a W.   I am good with refs letting teams play, but late hits out of bounds and face masks that PG seems to always get away with, they really need to call those, someone can get really hurt.

They seem to forget they were up 2 scores, Carthage turned it over 3 times and the All stars still could not win. Out coached, out played simple as that. But saying they were robbed I guess helps them sleep better at night.

Plus the obvious horse collar that didn’t get called

Was no horse collar, go back and watch it. Morrow 54 had him by the bottom of his jersey and body slammed to the ground. Dang cry babies.

I give defensive player of the game to number 14. He has gotten better and better every week and today he had some big time key stops in the backfield that were solo tackles.

Great game by him……My defensive choice would be #54 - showed today that he is just not a clog in the middle but that he has quickness as well - WHEN HE WANTS IT. More than once from the nose tackle position he got outside and made a tackle or at least slowed the runner down for others to make a tackle.

Classless trash

yeah the way Gibson did Surratt this year regarding their 2 year agreement to play junior high and sub varsity games was pure classless and trash. I lost the last small shred of respect I had for him and the Texarkana All Stars.

Great game and hell of a season for PG. Impressive team.

It’s unbelievable how many of these types of playoff games Carthage has played in and won since 2008.

Carthage is just like horror movie when you play them…as soon as you think the monster is dead, they come back to life. You just cannot kill’em!

Bordertown ,

I respect your opinion and enjoy your input.

However, calling the crybaby statement classless...my family and I were sitting at t blancos and were approached by a man who said "how much did you bulldogs pay those f@#$%ng refs?" Not drunk mind you... my reply was simply...the refs let stuff go from both sides...pass interference before half...holding by both lines all game...illegal blocks below the waist...he mentioned the offsides versus illegal procedures penalty...I asked if that cost as much as the sportsmanship penalty on the coaches?? He walked away muttering cuss words....

Watching the Bellville and Silsbee game now and Bellville ain’t no joke. Both sides of the ball they are good.

Belleville is the REAL DEAL. They are big, they are strong, they are more physical than PG and they have the size in the trenches to match Carthage. #66 on the OL is a big dude.

I agree but it is all about matchups. I remember everyone was saying the same things about Kennedale in 2017.  They were just mowing through people. Lot of football left before a possible match up. One week at a time.

They (PG) are so used to getting home cooking from the officials they get their feelings hurt when they don’t get every call going their way.

if their coaching staff had not tried to make the entire game about the QB, they might have come out better. They did not utilize any of their running backs, it was just the QB Right, QB Left and QB up the middle.

P G players played hard and were a class act on the football field from what I could tell………Coaches and fans - SMH.

They have to have something to blame the loss on. Their all-star team got sent home. They are so used to getting all that home cooking and when they don’t they turn into very poor sports.

Those Bulldogs are so much fun to watch and the never quit attitude is a great example.
