Linebacker

How's it looking for Carthage?

Not for sure but possibly a rb have had a receiver out a few weeks he dressed out last game but didn't play so questionable on him only recent  injuries lost a lineman for the season bout mid season which has caused one lineman to go both ways only one on team that does

Not that the outcome would of been different but it IS notable that #5, who's brother and him they keep mentioning above, did NOT play last year along with PG's leading rusher. Both were two way starters along with two other standouts that were injured. 4 players were out in the 4th round game last year AND just like this year, their depth is a bit of concern if you're a PG fan.

It looks like PG will have two key players out this game, along with the kicker who has not played since the Pittsburg game.

Again, you’ve got kids playing both ways. Carthage rarely does.  Athletes all over on both sides.  Carthage has a RB that will be out as well.

Good thing the Dawgs have a 220 pound sophomore running back that is outstanding to back up KJ Edwards.
I hate we lost Matlock because he is special.

If you are talking about #22, he lists himself at 5’9” and 193 lbs on Maxpreps.

Think Carthage is about to send a shockwave through 4AD2 Friday..Think they are about to dismantle PG in front of everybody, and the longer the game goes on the worse it gets.PG stepping into quicksand, this is as close to a title game as you can get and surrat and Preston know this, they Will coach accordingly. Not saying PG is a bad team, just Carthage is a better one.good luck to both and no injuries going forward ✌️

I know for a fact he tried to recruit the AHS kid a couple of years ago and the UIL called him on it! I can't wait to see Carthage give them a beat down. PG had trouble with Brock . Carthage is a different animal.

Stop your crying! It is obvious you hate PG because you always comment on a PG thread. Carthage just may win this game. If they do, so be it. PG will be just fine.

#5 would have been a non-factor if he played last year.  Jury is out whether he will be a factor this year.  Will be interesting to see how he reacts to some adversity and getting blocked regularly.  Will he catch another gear and battle?

The receiver mentioned above, who is a sophomore, wasn’t a starter. He is very talented; I’ve seen him referred to on this website as a potential DI prospect.

Watching PG's last game now on NFHS.  Entire event filmed "cheap seat style."  I guess being positive, they'll get every play, you just need to play in zoom mode.

I haven’t noticed nfhs getting any better.  It’s really poorly run.

Surratt has different “packages” for offense. That receiver had worked his way into a package or two.
Unless someone has acces to Little B’s  script, they have about a 20% chance of guessing Friday’s 11 offensive starters.
