Just happy to be playing.   Our district IMO will be much stronger next year.  I know Texas High and Marshall are both very young.  MP also, but their depth is a fatal flaw that just doesn’t go away

I agree.... I think it will be Texas High, Marshall, and Whitehouse again battling for 1-2-3

I'm going to be there Friday night proudly in my red and white.

Going to be tough....but THS has proven to be the class of ETX 5A Div II

I potentially might see this cause I definitely watching the Carthage/Pg game. I wonder if only one ticket is necessary lol.

Pretty sure you'll need a ticket for each game.

imo they are somewhat ahead of schedule when you look at how young Texas High is…the few players on the team that played on the 21’ team that was in the 4th round have done a good job with the younger guys on the team throughout the year..

if they stay healthy the next couple of years could be fun to watch

I guess you haven't goggled it on a map. Lovejoy high school to 🌹 Stadium is 2 hrs and 3 mins. Rose Stadium to TX High high school is 2 hrs and 6 mins. It's a shorter drive for both schools. But A and M Commerce to Lovejoy is hr. A and M Commerce to TX High is a hr and 44 mins. One is a 3 minute difference and the other one is a 45 minute difference give or take. Like I said 🌹 Stadium is as neutral as you can get for both schools. 😉

Hell 🌹 stadium is Longview...

I can't argue with that. 😆

Longview has definitely had more success at 🌹 Stadium than the Tyler teams the past 20+ years.

Since King has been the head coach at Longview. I believe he only has 1 lost there. That lone lost was to Lake Ridge with Jett Duffey at qb.

If T-High does not get pressure to the QB it could be a long night. From what I have seen defensively Lovejoy flys to the ball, very well coached.

I agree with your assessment. We have been somewhat vulnerable through the air.  We have improved but there are a lot of instances where the defense does allow WRs wide open behind them. A true passing team IMO could eat us alive if we cannot get pressure.

Lovejoy is the clear favorite......but favorites fall almost every weekend in the playoffs.  All you can do is play your best and get some breaks.  Texas High has the talent to win IF we can play a complete game and keep it close early.

I honestly think if you can really limit the big plays and “shorten” the game, you could find yourselves in the game.

T-High opened the year with Longview (scrimmage) and then Frisco Lone Star and then Colleyville Heritage.     My uneducated assumption is that Lucas Lovejoy will be somewhat similar to Lone Star and Colleyville Heritage, but maybe that is just because they are high income area Dallas suburban teams.    Is there something about the LL team that separates them from Lone Star and CH and makes them significantly different/better?

They’ve been called Allen Rejects for years. But, LL is Bathing in Talent…
