Both have their reasons as too why who will win the game.

Koff wins this one close to the same score as last year. Both teams brought back pretty much the same team. Winnsboro has improved but so has Malakoff. I was there last year and hate that they didn't play this one in Tyler again. I will probably hear a lot of flack and backlash for my prediction, but that is exactly what it is. My prediction.

I do not know the name of every kid that was brought back from last year. I do know, from reading up on both teams, that neither graduated very much. I said in my post that this was my prediction/opinion. Obviously I'm not knowledgeable enough, in your eyes, to have an opinion. Do not take offense to my prediction it doesn't mean I think Winnsboro it is a bad team. I just believe that Malakoff is a better team. What I say means nothing for the outcome of this game. Just posting on a game forum, as is everyone else in here. Have a good day.

I didnt take offense at all but this statement alone shows that it might not be the most accurate representation of a prediction. Doesnt factor in kids that moved up from jv that are contributing at a higher statistical clip than ones that graduated last year or that came back. Doesnt factor in another year of experience. Doesnt factor in another year in an offensive system. Doesnt factor in the return of a running back from injury that didnt play the last 4.5 games last year. Doesnt factor alot of things so i just found it difficult to see a prediction of another 45 point deficit.

I have seen Winnsboro play against Teague and Whitney

I have seen Malakoff play against Salado, Teague, and MV

 

This is going to be the best game in the state at any level and if anyone thinks this game is going to be a blowout either way is crazy and just being a big time homer.

 

Winnsboro offense is explosive and their defense is swarming but that is the exact same thing Malakoff is.

 

Winnsboro looks slow on tape but in person they shocked me with how well they move and play the game.

Malakoff is malakoff and there is a reason they are here once again they just play fast hard hitting football the driskell way.

 

 This is going to come down to special teams and turnovers whoever plays the best in these categories will set their team up for a win because I believe the offenses and defenses wash each other.

 

Malakoff beat winnsboro 55-10 last year so you know winnsboro is gonna be at a all time high for this game So this is the question will the emotions get the better of winnsboro in this moment. The moment they have been waiting for all year to get back to this game against this team? How will this game start?

 

I have had malakoff making state for sometime now so not going to change now but the raiders have their chance.

and the 35 yall were able to put on Teague we had by mid 2nd quarter.  is comparing scores a great measure on how this game will play out, no of course i know that. im just saying that it feels like Koff fans are either severely underestimating Winnsboro or are a little too confident on their end as well.  maybe a little bit of both.

Go back and see when those 28 were scored.  If you want to go off scores more than 6 games this year Winny pulled their starters at halftime or after one possession in the 3rd because they were already up by 40 or more.

Nothing that happened in any other game matters now all that matters from this point on will happen Friday night in Forney. Why don't yall just whip'em out and I will get a tape measure to see who has the bigger "Johnson" and get it over with.

I am a High school football fan. I'm from neither Malakoff or Winnsboro, I just enjoy Friday night football more than any other. It is just my prediction/opinion that Malakoff will win by the same score as last year or close to it.

i know its hard for people to wrap their heads around the possibility that Winnsboro or any team for that matter can improve in such a dramatic fashion as we believe Winnsboro has. it's not typical i get it, but it has happened. this team is night and day better than last years.  we couldn't run the ball to save our lives last year outside of the QB. he is now our 3rd option on the ground behind #23 and #2. we didn't have a WR threat with significant speed last year to stretch a defense and keep them honest...we now have #3 who can take the top off in a hurry. ( will be the fastest kid on the field ) and still have #11 who will be the best all around receiver Koff has seen this year.  the defense has played great all year and swarms to the ball and creates turnovers far more than last year.  Koff is legit dont get me wrong and if Winnsboro doesnt come with their best friday they will lose again i agree! i also think the same should be said for Koff...if they show up friday with anything but their best they will be heading home.  either way, friday cannot get here soon enough!!!!

I watched the Winny/Canton game last night #2 can scoot and IMO is the better of the 2 backs from what I saw in just 1 game. Finney ran well and had some good passes. IMO these 2 teams mirror each other. I believe the team with the fewest mistakes and doesn't give the other team good field position will be the winner. I don't think Winny will  kick the ball deep so they will pooch kick like in the Canton game. They advantage goes to the Tigers having good field position.

Malakoffs defense is legit.  I'm picking them because of that fact.  We will see how Winnsboro deals with being pushed for the first real time this year.
