Delbert Davis, Wayne Davis, Chad Rushing...yes they all could play!

Delbert Davis and  Lee Griffith did much of the heavy lifting.

Wayne Davis graduated 2 years prior, but was building rushing records at Louisiana College.

Chad Rushing was a 99 grad too (could be wrong). He was a pure downhill runner.

Don't know who my all time running back list would be from Garrison, but it was a blessing to get to watch those dudes cook.

Vicky Tutt, Mark Woodard, Wayne Davis, Delbert Davis, Lee Griffith, Chad Rushing,  Anthony Blount, Gerren Blount, Marcus Solomon, Harold Christopher, Markesta McAlister, Michael Rather, Jabara Williams, and Chop Williams  *** I know I'm missing plenty that need and deserve respect on their names. My memory alludes me and I can't speak toward those that I didn't see.***

Plenty of credit and appreciation for the historically good offensive lines that created many running lanes.

Hank Curbow had over 2,000 yards rushing one year back in the 60s .... he was the leading rusher in the state in class A that year ....

I just watched the Refugio vs Ganado game on NFHS .... I honestly was not impressed with either team ..... I think Garrison or Timpson would roll Ganado .... they had a lot of unforced mistakes holding onto the ball and still beat a sluggish looking Refugio team ....

I am telling you right now the 2A DI State Championship is tonight at 7pm at SFA ..... Neither Tolar nor Ganado can beat Garrison or Timpson .... We both have a huge speed advantage over the other teams and I do believe we both have the physical edge as well .... I was not impressed at all with Ganado or Tolar .... I do believe this is the year Region III brings home the trophy ....

Refugio definitely didn't look like the #2 team in the state. Not even close.😂

Refugio QB overthrew his open WRs the whole game .... Ganado center snapped the ball over their QBs head twice and Ganado had a few more fumbles luckily they recovered all of them ... I wasn't impressed with either team ....
