Great season Kilgore!

Great win Ch. The defense def showed up and our run game was too much. Great job by the staff and players. Now let’s get pass the semis.

Stuart is a handful for anyone. And to think those three in the backfield return next year.

Kilgore is a great team. But we just don’t have that killer instinct. That start with coaching. It took to long to get plays in on offense and when we did it was the same 5 plays we always run. We waste to much talent running the same old offense. Then we leave our defense in Kilgore. That’s two years in a row we have got out coached in all phases of the game. I always say after the third round you can throw talent out the window. It comes down to coaching.

Looks who’s back!  You should move to Carthage because everywhere you go the coaching is bad 🤣

Stewart had 230 in rushing. Cook had 105 and Brisbon added another 100+! CH ran the ball right at Kilgore all night as much as they wanted and Kilgore had no answers! CH never trailed in this game, had a TD called back and another dropped pass for a touchdown. As we were saying, this is not the same defense that Kilgore played in week 10. Rio and crew have proved they have a way of making this team better and better as the playoffs roll on! Putting Cook and Stewart in the backfield at the same time proved to be a gamechanger. CH proved who the better team was last night! And that says a lot because Kilgore is really, really good this season.

Gosh.....I just rewatched the offensive highlights several times on Hudl! Our offensive line manhandled Kilgore's defensive front all night. I might need to call CPS this morning and make a report of multiple cases of child abuse last night at Lobo stadium.

The loses C-Hill suffered during the season was the best thing for them. It humbled them and showed them they were not invisible. They went to work and now they are back in the semifinals.

Quick question. Has anyone seen the Lindale fans? I haven't heard a peek out of them since C-Hill got hot again.

A colossal choke by Kilgore. They played uninspired football and TCH took advantage and advances to yet another state semis. Congrats to the blue dawgs on 3 years of state semis in a row. That’s insanely good consistency.

I would disagree on Kilgore choking.  Those boys played hard football. Defense gave up some early scores, but they held strong in the end.  This is a game of inches and a game where mistakes kill. Kilgore had a few more mistakes than CH, but mistakes are part of the game.  2 points is a true picture of how competitive this game really was.

If CH is able to win this week and ultimately achieve a SC victory, it’ll be a huge credit to having to strap up against competition like Kilgore.  Part of the reason this region and this district is so consistent year after year is because there is teams like Kilgore that demand your best performance.  If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best and IMO CH beat the best team in the state last night.  Now focus and win the next one!

I’d respectfully disagree. 100% not trying to take away from TCH’s win and they’re getting to semis. We’re sitting at home in off season because we choked. But I saw a disinterested and lackluster kilgore team last night. No energy and not dawgs. Which is mind blowing to me. IT’S the state quarterfinals! Plus, after watching a few times now, I think the best team in the state right now, is who I believe you’ll play for state. Anna. They’re peaking at the right time. I think we’ll find out at state. I see ya’ll beating SAD by 21. Good luck to the blue dawgs. Hope ya’ll thank the good Lord for Brisbone and Stewart every day. 😂🤣Oh, and I’d say your new MVP is #0. That kid is balling out right now. Playing inspires football.

I'm not even sure Kilgore made more mistakes than CH. Does anyone know the final penalty totals? Seems like CH had more. I know CH had 1 more turnover than Kilgore. Dropped a touchdown in the first half. Another long touchdown called back in the second half. If CH could play a 100% clean game......imagine the possibilities?!

I agree 100% with that sentiment. The losses helped wake up TCH. NO DOUBT. Plus, if you think about it. No one is going to be mad if you hoist that trophy as 14-2 state champs or 15-1 state champs. If you learned from the losses and got better, then that’s all you can ask of these kids.

I see your point, but that’s a slippery slope, because Kilgore had some mistakes that cost them TDs too. It’s all part of the game.  Mistakes ARE the game in tight matchups.

And I’m glad you mentioned that long touchdown pass in 2nd half brought back by the hold. Pay attention to #5 trying to run down the CH receiver. He looks as though he gave up around the 20 and just decided I can’t catch him. Uninspired. Not the effort they had earlier in season. Almost like they’re just tired of playing football. It happens these are kids. TCH wanted it WAY more. Hats off to them. I think the regular season loss helped TCH and hurt Kilgore. You have to commend TCH for battling through all this. Most folks, me included, thought they may lose round 1 or 2. They found something and have once again gotten hot at the right time.

The first SC that CH won came from a 6-4 start to the season.  Team got hot at the right time and the defense only gave up like 13 points in 6 playoff games.

Exactly. Who cares? Just go get the trophy TCH. It’s all that matters. They can never take it away from you (side note: unless you’re Dallas Carter).

Maybe CH did want it more, but I saw really good effort overall by Kilgore.  Watch their front 7 attack play after play after play.  They were playing arguably the best running duo in the state and keep them out of the end zone for 3 quarters.

Getting smashed in the mouth the first 2 drives of the game will "uninspire" lots of teams.
