I look for this to be an absolute banger of a game. It seems CH has found something in the last few games defensively. We shall see Friday night. I remember thinking this was a Kilgore lock 2 years ago when it was at Rose and CH beat Kilgore in OT, starting to feel the same again. Anything can happen Friday night.

Y'all will see another gear from this Kilgore D but we shall see what CH looks like when facing an elite defense. Yeah CH looks back to being what y'all thought from the get go but let's be serious those teams defenses aren't what they are fixing to go up against. I mean heck y'all have faced them once already minus a bad snap they only scored 9 points.

Well if Chapel Hill considers Iowa Colony good then Kilgore can consider Bay City and Needville good too...being that Bay City lost to IC by 1 and Needville lost to IC by 4...

Bay city beat needville 50 to 17 ...needville= no defense....and their #5 LB looked lost and taking himself out of the play almost every play.

Has anyone heard anything on our QB I was told he could have returned to the Needville game if absolutely needed but I can't get a 100% answer on his status. I'm 99% sure he is playing just curious if anyone has heard?

Kilgore is by far the most talented team CH has faced.  Fast and physical.

The last time CH played an East Texas team deep in the playoffs with a “questionable” QB, they got beat.  Henderson fans remember that one.  CH better plan like he’s playing.

He definitely could have went back in last game. But, I think the coaches wanted to see how the Soph handled the pressure. QB1 should be good to go Friday night.

Man I call BS on this. Third round and Kilgore was in a really tight game, I think behind by 7 at the time. IF QB1 could have came back in, he would have. Not saying he won’t play this Friday, I’m sure he will. But tired of hearing the “ he could have played” “ coach wanted to see the sophomore” stuff. It’s round 3 in a tight game. Coach wants QB 1 in!  I can honestly say. He tried throwing the ball on the sideline but those ribs was hurting pretty bad. He wanted to go back but he was told no. I am glad they keep him out because Kilgore showed they could play power football. They pass the football I think 5 times the second half.

This sounds accurate! Brooks is one hell of an athlete. I’ve watched the kid play baseball since he was 5! But QB 1 is just a difference maker and experience goes a long way.

No. Just seen several Kilgore fans say he could have played against Needville. Me and most other CH fans wants to see him suited up and playing Friday night.
