Good list I don’t think it ends up that way but it accurate.. Either Alabama or Texas gets booted. Should be bama because of head to head.

Good list?  We have Liberty as the 10th best team in the country…

Top In definitely. Technically they’re a good team but I agree with you not too ten.
1. Mich 2. Wash 3. FSU 4. Tex

Bama should be left out due to head to head

Georgia should be left out because they lost

Oregon same reason

Ohio same reason didn’t play

I'd love to see Michigan lose again in the semi-finals.......nothing would make me happier than to see Michigan Lose.....but then again, I don't hate the players, just MICHIGAN......

If they do the right thing and put FSU 4th, Michigan will be in the final.

If they match up with Texas or Alabama in the semis, I would think that they are done.

I think Washington is legit and if they match up with Texas I think it will be a 1-2 point game going in either direction.

I think they put the 3 undefeated teams Michigan, Washington, FSU--then Texas, who deserves to be in the playoff because of a Head To Head over another 1 loss team.

Penix Jr. will have to play one of the best defenses he'll see, and Michigan will look like they did last year against TCU.

After the graphic ESPN just put up, I am confident that FSU is out.

1 michigan

2 Washington

3 texas

4 alabama

Talking heads wanting controversy......if they leave FSU out, they should not play in a bowl game, because the deserve to be in the playoffs, because they completed their season without a loss, they lost players and still won. It is all about the SEC, well the SEC doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs this year, because they LOST games. Sorry Saban...you lost to TEXAS.....the playoffs should be about who DESERVES to be there, not who is playing the best at the end of the season. If the committee does not put in an Undefeated P5 team, then the playoff is nothing more than a sham....which it is in reality, because they just want money, it's not about the kids, it's about how they can make money.

If it was about money, I am not sure why it took so long to expand the playoffs.  Unless there is more money in spreading out the bowl games.  But I know there are some bowls that I can’t watch at 1:00 on a Monday with a half empty stadium.

I know that, but the NCAA is always slow, think about it, the Division 1-AA championship playoffs started in 1978......the BCS didn't start until the 1998 season, 20 more years of "AP" champions....heck even BYU won a National Title during those years.......The bowl committees continue to lobby for their bowls and bribe the NCAA still to this day---45 years later....Instead of using the bowls for a REAL playoff system, we continue to have boring games, players sitting out, and half empty stadiums. If the NCAA would go the way of the Basketball Tournaments, they'd have a lot more money for the schools, not for themselves. It is all about the TV revenue......because if it wasn't why would Texas and Oklahoma leave the Big 12?

It is a sad day in sports, for athletes when a group of people in a room, politicians can destroy the make up of amateur sports. I guess I'll just have to go back to watching high school football, where you actually make the playoffs based on wins and losses, not a "beauty pageant".

Boo Corrigan is the biggest liar in America today, saying that it was all about a certain person.....said that the loss of Jordan Travis was the reason they moved them down, but came back minutes later and said it was the "kids that came to together to win those games without their coach", yet didn't FSU do the same thing as they came together to win 2 games without their QB.........It's all about the money......and to think, next year we will only have 2 conferences in the the final 12....why have college sports anymore. SMH.

Can you imagine Carthage getting left out of the playoffs after going 10-0 and winning district because their QB got hurt?

That literally just happened in college football

That you have this in place has to make you really question how you go forward in college football. FSU was down 2 QBs and starting a true freshman. Went 13-0 and won their championship game. They are out in the cold along with Georgia and Ohio State. Georgia was #1 all year but lost to Bama in SEC CG. TCU lost in the Big 12 Championship game last year and still made the playoffs. Ohio State was top 3 team, goes on the road to Michigan (another top 3 team) and loses. Playoff expansion can't get here fast enough.

The problem with their playoff expansion, it is just the same old Bull :poop: with just more teams involved.

You wanna make it correct, divide the NCAA teams into 10 divisions, drop 3 teams from the current Division 1 FBS---Winner of 13 divisions, with 3 next best records get the wild cards. Get rid of these "superconferences", play 11 games, 2 non conference, 9 conference......then a 16 team playoff. And don't allow a committee to decide the fate of 18-22 year olds who play their heart out each and every week to get disappointed because you did what you had to, but those people decide they need an SEC team in the playoffs, because the SEC commissioner would probably sue the heck out of them. The ACC president is a wimp if he doesn't cancel the ACC in all bowl games.

Liberty and FSU went undefeated, not a single blemish on their record.  Do we really know what they could do if the playoffs were as they should be ?  The answers would be a hard no.  FSU was shafted to the bottom of the coal mine with the dead canary in my opinion.  They did what they had to do throughout the entire season, and Bama based on name recognition gets the pass.  I did have Alabammer ranked #1 in the early part of the season, and one win over Georgia took them to the promised land.  I realize they have probably the greatest college football coach ever with Little Nicky Saban and the spirit of Phylis from Mulga influenced the voters over FSU. The Playoff Commitee kneeled to the SEC, SEC, SEC, without an undefeated Champion.

We'll see what Liberty does against Oregon in the Fiesta (Tostito's) Bowl, but I think FSU will have a chance to prove their point as well against Jawja in the Orange Bowl.
