After playing CH, Kilgore, Lindale….its like we never left 5A. Those 3 teams would beat (or did beat) most of the 5A teams we will be rejoining in 5A. Texas High is the only school that is definitely a higher level than those three. Won’t be much of a change in competition.

Agree 100%. Teams don’t typically get worse with a drop in classification. Hopefully y’all can get to be competitive like in the early 2000s.

Been hearing Koff vs Gunter

Really depends on how district lines up. I could see us being in a 7/8 team district this go around. Depends if Grandview will be in our district too. If Grandview isn't in our district. I can still them being on our schedule again for non district. So there's two for us so far that could be there.

I don't know about some of the metro districts, but with China Spring, Anna, Waco Connally, Burkburnett, and Wichita Falls all leaving the range of Region 2 and only Lake Dallas and Aubrey coming in to replace them, it's going to be interesting what the UIL does. Some DFW schools are going to end up in Region 1, which will be really unfortunate for playoffs in terms of travel distances. Maybe something like this out of old Districts 4-8

District 4: Decatur, Springtown, Mineral Wells, Lake Worth, River Oaks Castleberry, Stephenville, Alvarado

District 5: Fort Worth Carter-Riverside, Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis, Fort Worth Dunbar, Fort Worth Eastern Hills, Fort Worth Western Hills, Kennedale

District 6: Aubrey, Celina, Frisco Panther Creek, Lake Dallas, Carrollton Ranchview

District 7: Dallas Carter, Dallas Hutchins, Dallas Pinkston, North Dallas, Waxahachie Life

District 8: Kaufman, Mabank, Nevada Community, Paris, Sulphur Springs

Return a good many ... losing some linemen and the QB ... lots of good kids coming up ... biggest question mark is QB in my opinion ....

Losing Both rb's well main ones, the big wr, and another starting wr. #5 and 22 gonna be hard to replace that duo and the qb was very headsy and could run when needed.

Yea, losing a good many but there's plenty of talent remaining and a lot of talent in the pipeline, losing #5 and the QB will hurt, but we have a couple of young RBs that will be better than #22 in my opinion .... the pipeline has a lot of talent .... just have to develop them and keep the strength and conditioning program going .... replacing the QB will be the biggest challenge ....
