Tepp and Stepp stated on the last DCTF podcast that they will go live around 8:45 am on their streaming channels (YouTube, etc).  That’s the only broadcast I am aware of.

I just don’t see them splitting up Hawkins, Big Sandy, and Union Grove.  They are all within 20 miles of each other.

It just depends how it falls.

I remember a district where Ore City and Harleton were not together and ones where Pewitt and DF were not together.

I created districts all the way up through 4A.  3A-I, Region I is really tough to figure.  You could put Vernon and Iowa Park with the 3 Panhandles to create a 5 team district.  IP to Dalhart is a trek, but it has happened before...exactly 10 years ago.  The 5 West Plains schools in another.  San Angelo TLC, Sweetwater, and Comanche with Jim Ned, Clyde, and Breckenridge.  Bowie and Pottsboro in District 4, which is the only 3A-I 8-team district.  All other districts are either 6 or 7 teams.   But, I decided the 8 teamer was a little unfair, so I busted up the 5 West Plains schools and went with:

D1: Denver City, Lamesa, Kermit, Sweetwater, San Angelo TLC

D2: Amarillo River Road, Brownfield, Bushland, Dalhart, Shallowater

D3: Breckenridge, Bowie, Clyde, Comanche, Iowa Park, Jim Ned, Vernon

D4: Boyd, Paradise, Peaster, Pilot Point, Ponder, Pottsboro, Whitesboro

D5: Commerce, Emory Rains, Eustace, Malakoff, Mineola, Mount Vernon, Winnsboro

D6: Atlanta, Gladewater, Sabine, Jefferson, Tatum, Liberty-Eylau, White Oak

D7: Dallas A+, Dallas Life Oak Cliff, Dallas Madison, Grandview, Maypearl, Palmer

D8: Fairfield, Groesbeck, Mexia, Teague, West, Whitney

D9: Coldspring-Oakhurst, Crockett, Diboll, Franklin, Huntington, Palestine Westwood

D10: Anahuac, Buna, Hardin, Kirbyville, Orangefield, Winnie East Chambers

D11: Cameron Yoe, Florence, Little River Academy, Llano, McGregor, Rockdale, Troy

D12: Columbus, Edna, Hempstead, Hitchcock, Palacios, Halletsville

D13: Goliad, Luling, Marion, San Antonio Cole, Universal City Randolph, Yoakum

D14: Crystal City, Hondo, Ingram Moore, Jourdanton, Lytle, Poteet

D16: Falfurrias, Lyford, Progresso, Raymondville, Rio Hondo, San Diego, Santa Gertrudis Academy

I'll probably be way off, but I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

Highland Park is still going to be a tough out in December. Just ask John Tyler fans.

Ask HP fans about Aledo…should be a doozy nonetheless

May the realignment gods smile on you tomorrow morning.

Things I can’t wait for:

Where Daniel Swaim finally decides to land.

corrigancamden09’s stunning outlook of what CC football will be in their district

Pitt fans may actually have something to celebrate

How many teams in the region will push Gunter out Carthage

What I’m not looking forward to seeing:

The sale of alcohol sales going up to cope

Administrations not extending people based off new alignments

How Pitt fans will over react to their alignment

The sobs and wailings of those missing out on Daniel Swaim

I know this is a silly post but I wish the best of luck to you. Unfortunately there will be some schools that won’t see things for what they are and they move on from coaches and their families who are rooted into communities.

Not saying what you said isn’t true but I can’t recall hearing any coaches getting let go in February due to realignment.   I know some coaches will leave schools in February and after because of realignment.

You are spot on, it will be interesting to see how many coaches jump ship and run from their new District.

Did I miss District 15 or did you?
