@KirtFalcon it ain't just D's.  I fault the R's more, actually.  At least the D's are open with their desire to destroy the country.  R's are simply full of 💩.

Read my last bullet point .... I said "liberal politicians" ......

The dimturds are the reason this issue hasn't been resolved years ago ....

They want open borders ....

They won't enforce existing laws ....

They continue to release illegal aliens by the millions into America ....

Liberal politicians cater to illegals with free everything and refuse to insist they assimilate and become citizens legally ....

So are you for this bipartisan legislation?

I am for securing the border, first and foremost .... nothing else matters unless this is done first ...

I am for enforcing existing laws until or if new laws are passed ....

I am for remain in Mexico for asylum seekers ....

I am for blowing the drug cartels into the stone ages ....

I am for militarizing our borders with active duty forces and putting homeland security and the Border Patrol under the DOD ....

I am for stopping the border crossings COLD .... not processing illegals after they invade our sovereign borders ....

I am for catch and deport ..... not catch and release

I would appreciate bi-partisan support for all these needed initiatives .....

A simple yes or no would suffice. No need for an old man yelling at the clouds type response.

What does bipartisan have to do with anything?  If it's bad policy, it's bad policy.  I don't care who's for it.  We want good policy that is good for the nation, not just something that had democrat and republicans that sign on to it.

I'm curious as to what you think is bad about it.

The order of operations is wrong.  The start has to be secure the border and stem the tide of illegal immigrants.  If the first thing put forth is "a path to citizenship" then you fired the starting pistol to everyone to try and beat the line to get here.  We have opened the border to people who have no interest in becoming American citizens, they are coming to become a burden on the nation.

So what business has been raided or even fined by Gov. Abbott in the state of Texas  for hiring illegals?

I'll  wait.

And what happened to all those people (like in Martha's Vineyard) who were"welcoming" to the migrants, and saying things like "all are welcome", until the migrants showed up in their town/neighborhood?
