I expect Texas to be a consistent contender. I don’t care because right now A&M is in better position right now and led by a guy who got some integrity to lead. I don’t care that he left but the way he left was horrible! How do you know the guy you hired has integrity? He left for Texas too. You had to hire him back. He left you. In other words when talking about a lateral job move he left for Texas.

Proven to be a liar by who? Aggie sites. Elko lied to his Duke players. The Duke AD is on record saying she had to tell the team that Elko took the job. That never gets mentioned by y’all and is dismissed when others bring it up with no evidence to back it up. I guess earley was the only offer the Aggies made fot the job too huh? And you said he told Texas no??? lol he was announced at Texas as one of the new baseball coaches. Just in case you want to say he told Texas “No” again Edited August 3 by YeahBuddy
Baron
9 hours ago, Lion7000 said: You can’t really deny that? I don’t know about his wife but evidence is there. I sincerely hope he hasn’t but alcoholics have done this before! This could be a distraction but Texas potentially could be very dangerous this year. The schedule is daunting and they have their tough games at home. Michigan replaces a lot but still has a very strong defense. I give the edge to Texas . Deny what? That he's a wife beater? This is beyond the pale. There is absolutely no evidence of this. You aggys just want to wish this stuff to be true. Maybe if you say it enough times you can convince others. It might work out it did for Saban lol! However, I bet it doesn’t to the magnitude you are expecting! Didn’t Elko say he wasn’t leaving Duke, just before leaving Duke for A&M? Why do these things only matter when Texas is involved? FYI, coaches lie all the time about not leaving a current job.

But don’t only call them out when they end up at Texas. Call them all out. Also, what do you want them to say? It’s the reporters that put them on the spot with these questions when the news hasn’t been made public yet. They’re not going to say they’re leaving yet, until the announcement is formally made, and when they’re vague with their response, everyone knows that that means anyway. This is why you see coaches do this every year, across every sport. Maybe some fans simply need to stop being Karen’s about it.

cotton84
Hmmmmmm……I won’t mention names, but someone on Smoaky says they stay drunk the whole football season because of Carthage……and that same person says Sark beat his wife because he is an alcoholic. And yes, we already knew that USC gave him chance after chance to stop drinking and he couldn’t. People who have alcohol problems and explosive anger issues certainly set a pattern…. Which is why I said it made me wonder.

Blame the reporter for asking, don’t blame him for lying to the nation! Everyone does it! That means it’s okay! Oh and if you don’t like liars? You’re just a Karen. It’s incredible to me how quickly people abandon all morality when college athletics is involved.
