🤘🏻 Texas Longhorns 2024 🤘🏻

Recommended Posts

Slow start for the offense but the skill position players are as good as advertised. Quinn spread the ball around, 6 Wrs, 3 TEs, and 2 RBs caught passes. That is going to opposing defenses a lot to think about.

Defense was swarming, the Dline rotated a lot of guys, LBs filled holes and made multiple TFLs, and the DBs played tight coverage all day. Barron stayed disciplined on his INT and didn’t bite on the quick hitch.

I really liked the way Gibson ran, maybe it was a tired defense but he got chunk yardage.

Not much to complain about but it’s a 52-point shutout to start the year. On the Michigan.

Think UT’s OL play needs to continue to improve just a bit and hope the RB does the same.

The WR group - 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!!

WOW.

Several times throughout the game CSU got great penetration and tackled our RB in the backfield before he could get going.

Think our secondary is actually better this year, but time will tell on that.

Ewers and Manning are both special quarterbacks.

Overall, really good first performance all around.

Michigan didn’t really put up Fresno state . Absolutely no way Texas doesn’t dominate and end Michigan massive winning streak!

Hope you’re correct, but Michigan will be super focused for Texas.

I think you’re correct in that Michigan seems to have taken a step back, but that’s not for certain yet.

The team that really struggled is Oregon.

Agreed . Texas took Colorado st seriously and you didn’t hear a peep about the Michigan game. Sark is right guy and has a remarkable turnaround on and off the field!

Gibson trucked a few guys.  He does not shy away from contact.

Just rewatched the first half of Texas game.  There is a lot good things I could say but I was impressed with the 2 transfer DT’s on the d-line. Watched 15 and 99 take double teams and not get pushed back and get involved in the play. Did not know how good they would be. The d-line is going to be ok depth wise. I hade concerns about it but not as much now.

Had Texas clicked in the first quarter they could have laid 14 more points on the Rams.

We won't brag Nov 30th either because it's what we're expected to do in that scrimmage  \m/ \m/

I was surprised to see a shutout vs CSU. They aren’t terrible (obviously not great), but they have some good players.

There’s no need to brag week 1 when you have an opportunity to beat the defending champs in their own backyard the following week.

That was namely a jab at Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Alabama. I saw them bragging on Facebook lol! It was expected at Texas ! Now if y’all do Michigan dirty in the big house then by all means , boast!

Fair enough! From what I saw , Texas is pretty focused. I would be kinda of surprised if Michigan won !
