I don't believe A&M cares much about what the general public thinks about them. They don't waiver at all the jabs about their traditions and all that. Aggies like being different and believe being an Aggie is special. I don't take issue with that at all. It all starts at the top, and if you ask me (even though you didn't lol), the higher ups in College Station care very much what the Aggie alums and donors think. But the problem is (to my knowledge), they have never had great leadership at the top, specifically at the AD role. So that's why they sign Jimbo to a crazy contract extension and everything else always seems to be a quick fix instead of a slow build. Sorry but I’m not going to dig back through a years worth of forums just to satisfy you. I’ve read it and folks from message boards of teams that benefitted from these kids leaving aTm have talked about it. You would discredit it anyway if I did find it so I’m not bothering with it. Mizzou’s qb plays because his parents own a pizza chain in Missouri and fund about 80% of Missouri’s entire NIL dept. he is easily rattled and makes dumb mistakes despite being an above avg athlete. He didn’t have what it takes between the ears. I went to the cotton bowl and sat among the Missouri folks….
