ETXfan16
Aggies played very good. Not taking anything away from their performance. Very good win.Β Β But Missouri, I mean good grief. They looked like they didnβt even want to be there. They have always been a flawed team all year, but the lack of effort, specifically on defense was shocking. Theres 4 teams left that if A&M doesnβt come to play could be losses. Thereβs also not a single team left that if they come to play they canβt beat. A lot also depends on health of teams. Stoney
There's a couple teams on the schedule that crazy stuff historically happens with. Mississippi State and Auburn. Best case scenario you head into LSU 6-1. Best case scenario you're possibly looking at 7-1 with South Carolina, New Mexico State and Auburn. Weigman's performance against Notre Dame versus Mizzou makes me feel better about Klein's offense being able to use the passing attack to let Moss and the Maroon Goons do their thing. If you tell me heading into November 30th we were 10-1 and I'd be freaking ecstatic. 9-2 still pumped. 8-3 would temper my dreams but still have me feeling good at about what we've seen from the season. 8-4 before the season with an entire new staff after Jimbo would be a good season. Anything above 8 wins is gravy. I've liked how this staff has handled the injuries, the positional improvements and the in season progression from the staff and players. I don't think Jimbo has this team at 5-1.Β

If we can get that type of game from all the 3 parts of the team: offense, defense, special teams, they could potentially be facing the Longhorns at Kyle Field in a head to head matchup of top 5 teams with 1 loss between them. If that happens I'd be freaking thrilled.

Look at the 2022 loss to them. South CarolIna could be a wild card. They played LSU tough. One game on there you feel should be a win if you don't take them for granted in New Mexico State. 4 potential toss ups....and then there's the Longhorns at the end. Say you split the toss ups, beat the Aggies, you're sitting at 8-3.
