But ranked 16th nationally in total rush yards allowed per game at 101.9, Reed may have to throw much more often than he used to.

He might. If A&M is able to run the ball at a decent pace I don’t see this one being that close. If they limit what the RBs are able to get on the ground, it’s going to be very close. I don’t think Reed is going to be a huge factor throwing the ball yet but you have to use him because I think Connor’s pocket presence will not get it done either with their pass rush. If South Carolina could throw the ball I’d actually have them favored. But I just don’t think they can score against A&M enough even if they slow the offense down. I could be wrong though.Β

I think SC figured out that Reed struggles throwing anything that’s not in the middle part of the field.Β
Don’t worry though my Aggie friends. Ewers goes down 100% of those plays that the SC QB escaped.Β

This result was not surprising at all to me. SC coming off a bye and rested, while A&M coming off an emotional win and on a high, and going on the road.Β

South Carolina was due for a big win and they got it. A&M’s tackling performance was disgusting.

I don’t have the stomach to rewatch this game, but I remember probably 5-6 sacks at least vs most QBs. Those would have absolutely been the difference in the game. A&M lost this game because of poor tackling. The scheme was fine if not good, they just could not bring down the Qb when they would have him dead to rights and it cost them. USCe earned it and hats off to them, but A&M fans are going to be real upset with the missed sacks in the film room.Β

Nice being undefeated while it lasted I never thought I see the day when a school rushed the field because of A&M!Β

It is a fad now. Check the Baylor TCU game from yesterday. IMO it is not a measuring stick anymore.

I could see us switching to Weigman to throw and it being effective.Β

South Carolina looked like a game where they needed Weigman. Β Might be a situational QB room going forwardΒ

Welcome to the party of 0 wins against a ranked opponent my Aggie friends.Β

Both of our schedules are soft. I had this as a must win 9+ type season for A&M because of it. This will no doubt be the easiest schedule they ever get in the sec.Β
