Exciting game but neither team looked great. A&M was 1-13 with RISP and left 14 on. Texas had four errors.

I fully expect a rematch tonight if Texas has the energy to get through Louisiana. That game was draining I’m sure.

aTm about to (hopefully) punch their ticket to Omaha.

Losing Sdao really hurts their chances if they get there. Pitching is too thin.

And then reliever gives up a solo shot first batter.  Not good!

edit:  throw in another HR.  3 in a row!  What the heck!

OR has walked the Aggies back into this game lol.  Walks kill.

I haven’t seen an inning that bad in some time. 9 runs in one inning off mostly walks and one timely homer. The Oregon coach left that pitcher in about 3 batters (walks) longer than he should have. All momentum had shifted by that point and when the bases are juiced it only takes about one swing to flip the game entirely. A 8-4 lead turned into trailing 13-8 over the course of 3 outs.

The Texas A&M Aggies are going to Omaha.

Long time coming. Florida a team many didn’t think deserve a place will be tough and the Aggies don’t have the benefit of College station here. A&M is built for this but will tougher from here on out.

The grand slam was a thing of beauty.  No-doubter right off the bat.  Yes.  Oregon imploded that inning. Walks kill.  Make the other team at least put the ball in play!  One game at a time Aggies.

Anyone else stay up to watch the Aggies vs FL game last night?  I did.  Finished at 1:15am.  Right fielder made highlight reel catch to save the game.  If he's an inch shorter than his 6'5" frame,  it's a homer and FL has the lead.  Hello Win Column.

Amazing catch but unfortunately caught the highlights. I am older .

Winner of Ags vs. Kentucky will play Tennessee on Wednesday. Loser will play the winner of Florida vs. NC State in an elimination game Wednesday. Hopefully A&M can win the whole game. Kentucky is a feel good story cause they never been to Omaha. I believe Tennessee is the overall favorite.

This is not correct. Different side of the bracket. This works just like the regional/super matchups where it’s 4 teams on each side and the winner of those sides play. So Tennessee and A&M wouldn’t play until the championship series.

Yeah my mistake I figured it out with the next post. A&M is capable but Tennessee seems like a difficult matchup, however A&M won’t overlook Kentucky.
