I've honestly never hated the 11 am games, watch your team early and kick back and see others rest of the day.  But my kids have sporting events on Saturdays now, usually first half of day, see I'm liking the evening games.

My main issue was that it seemed like every home game was at 11:00 am and we had to play big road games at night.

It was a disadvantage both ways.

Sec time but that schedule is extremely tough. If Oklahoma makes to the playoffs they will have earned it.

I've heard podcasters and seen Tweets that say *theoretically* this is the hardest schedule OU should experience for the foreseeable future, due to the rotation of teams, home and away, and etc.

Frankly, I don't care. I'm just glad to be out of the clown car escapades of the Big XII.

Now granted, the SEC has its own corruptions and shenanigans, but at least we'll get rich in the process.

The sites just flip next year. The thing that makes it look tough is that Ole Miss and Missouri are projected to be better than they typically are.

That is true however, the sec did Ou dirty with Alabama , Lsu , Tennessee along with a better ole Miss and mizzou. Not counting Texas .

Not to belabor the point, but aside from the tough schedule aren't ya'll replacing the entire OL with a RS QB? That's gonna be tough.

Supposedly they used the winning percentage from the last decade to determine conference schedules. So Texas underachieving in the Big 12 for a decade paid off in the end it seems lol.

I think 5 guys they put out there will be good, but they might not have anymore to replace with if injuries occur.

The good thing is that Bedenbaugh will at least make them average IMO, and if they can be average then I think the team can be good.

Val nails it...

Our starting five should be good-to-adequate, but there's a steep drop-off from there. I'm sure we're going to rotate young guys in, but they're just not ready yet. 2024 is gonna be a big learning curve.

There will be very few teams we can just out-muscle and out-talent at the line of scrimmage. Quick hitters in the run AND pass game are gonna be key. Don't make the young QB sit back there and think too much. Don't try overly complicated counters or draws. Hit fast and hit hard.

Kind of ironic to go take a top QB from California who isn’t even considering USC as an option.

Doesn't he attend the same high school as a previous SC quarterback signee who's since portaled out?  #QBwhisperer
