Is the Liberty Christian game at a neutral site? That's a long walk from Texarkana to Argyle.

I don’t believe so but I don’t really know one way or the other. Stepp had said he thought the Waco u game was going to be but that didn’t end up happening. Other than maybe playing at Royce city I don’t know anywhere else that would make sense. I guess it could be a Jerry world or the star game.

Sulphur Springs and Commerce would both be near halfway…..and being a non-district game, would hold the crowd.

True didn’t think about those was just thinking about Wittens connections with the cowboys.

What happened to Carthage vs Aledo?  I think I read somewhere a while back that might happen?  Maybe just a rumor or wishful thinking.

"Rumor" from people not being serious. Carthage wants no part of Aledo and Aledo would strive to have competitive games on the schedule.

Duly noted, but " Carthage wants no part of Aledo and Aledo would strive to have competitive games on the schedule." You don't know that for certain.  That's why the games are played.

Understood, but Aledo is in a different universe than Carthage.

Probably.  Maybe.  But there are some years where Carthage is also in a different universe from Carthage.  Next 2 years might be that way.  I got nothing but mad respect for Aledo.  I just like to test limits.  Heck they might run us out of the stadium, but there's only one way to know for certain.

For Carthage it would absolutely be a test. But realistically what does Carthage offer Aledo? Honestly not a lot. Pound for pound yall are top tier. No doubt about that. But if Aledo was to play a team from East Texas, I would want them to play the best one. Longview.

Aledo has gotten to big with multiple athletes at each position. One goes down they can run one in as good as the one that went down.
Longview would be a much more even match. Go back a few years and my Dawgs could play with Aledo.
That is just the plain truth.
The 2024 Dawgs are going to be special and I can’t wait to see them. They could match up with any 5 A DII but the depth at 5A DI and above is to big of a difference.

Stanford posted the schedule as @ Argyle. the only neutral site game is Midlothian Heritage

Know where Celina game will be yet?

No has not been released yet. My guess is somewhere just north of Waco or Corsicana

When C&C deals you a reality check, it's best to take notice.

Kilgore for HC...good choice!!

Not everyone that bold . I would have picked Pine Tree or Van. The most obvious is Spring Hill but that is so late in the season.

I'd take the loss to kilgore from this year again for homecoming over playing a team that'll be a blowout.
