gw looked pretty good at times honestly. i liked the qb who could throw he looked better. just my opinion

I read on Texarkana Gameday fb post where a guy from LE said his son is playing QB this year and was going to win district and state lol. At least we’re not the 1st talking about Jerry’s world

Gotta respect the optimism lol. I know they're happy and all....but the team that beat them to push them to the 4 seed this past season gave up 64 to our 5th place team. They may win the district.....but it ain't gonna be handed to them.

Not by any means! I feel like there will be a “real humbling experience” a time or 2 or 3 in district

First time we dropped a class in my era it was fresh off the 3A state title and we returned nearly everything. Troup caught us sleeping and beat us that year. We ran the rest of the table to go back to back but they popped us. Interestingly enough, that was also the year LE won it all behind the talent of LaMichael James and Will Middlebrooks as they upset arguably the most talented Gilmer team I have ever seen in round 1 or 2. I think LE's mold puts them in immediate contention for the district crown. They fit in well, but they'll have to win some scraps to be able to claim it.

I agree! I think at this point they should be the preseason favorite. But I think there’s 3 or 4 others that’s definitely going to make life tough for them.

Bro don’t pay him he’s been doing that for years buddy thought his son should’ve been starting QB last year! Had to edit the post** his son was the JV QB last year and they did go undefeated.. he may be on to something but state is a reach considering we are rebuilding by bringing in a totally new staff..

Comparing scores never really tell the story imo, we’ve beaten Atlanta & Jefferson handily in the past few years.. on the flip side we also have barely made the playoffs the last few years, a ton of it had to do with the previous staff.. as far as the Spring Hill game they did have a ton of kids out early last year they vastly improved during the year. Also they jumped out to a 21-0 lead and ended up winning it in OT we had several players out that game.. no one thinks it’s going to be a cake walk, trust me we are definitely in a rebuild from grades 7-12th..but I have no doubt we should be competing for a district championship just based on what we have returning!

respectfully when yall beat us we were terrible those years. 5 wins and the other time yall beat us we won 2 games that season. So thats not saying much honestly

Wasn't so much the comparing scores as just using it as a tool to show there's 5 teams in the district that will scrap. I dunno wth White Oak's doing.....but it ain't scrappin.

Nah we should prolly just give LE the one seed and move them to the bidistrict round. We can all play for 2nd. There’s no sense in letting them risk injury since they are a state caliber team and all.

My point is that we were too we were only winning 5 games those two seasons lol still blew you out lol..  obviously didn’t read the whole post

I think y’all are in for an eye opening you forget that it wasn’t long ago that we were going 4 rounds deep in 4A. The talent gap between 3AD1 and 4AD2 isn’t that wide. Sure there isn’t a PG or Gilmer but if you are expecting to run through teams in 3AD1 you’ll be disappointed.

The only teams to really make an impact from dropping down from 4A have been Lorena, Lago Vista, Diboll, and for about a 3/4 year stretch you guys. 

Gonna be interesting to see who makes the bottom bracket in the 3rd round this upcoming season.

You do realize we dropped and won it....then went back up, then dropped back down and went to the semis? It was before yall were good so you may not have even kept up with football then though lol.
