It's been awhile that people could actually say JT has the better staff than the opposing teams staff.

JT has one of the top staffs in ETX. I really think they take a major leap forward this year.

Crazy how JT can get HC right, but Lee can't lol

it’s just funny. taking kids away from west tyler still did help them with making deep runs in the playoffs

Tyler high used to get 3 middle schools and legacy used to get 3 middle schools, now Legacy gets two and half middle schools and Tyler gets one half middle schools after they closed Dogan and Stewart. Where did you think the Stewart kids went lol.. ironic also Moore and Boulter were terrible in football this past season and now Hubbard and three lakes are dominant this past season, you don’t think that happened by design?? How you think legacy got miller when all his family when to Tyler high? Legacy get everything by the stadium all the way up to Lindsey park, that was all Tyler high territory. Tyler isd knows that most of Tyler high best players over the last decade came from Stewart and Moore, it’s not a coincidence. Anybody on this board knows what happened

Straight facts, but I don't believe Trahan will see it. Legacy has a good group of freshman coming, but compared to the 6A schools 🏫 they're competing against, it won't matter imo. Legacy is going to STRUGGLE big time this year and next.

Most of those teams were heavy senior led teams. 3rd place is the worst tyler will be. I’m sorry but midlothian and centennial are no where near Lancaster, LV, Forney. They would get smoked by those teams.

This will be a copy of the 2018 team with better ending.

everybody thought they wouldn’t do this and that because of the previous but that team was young and inexperienced just like this years team. A lot people didn’t know the true talent of the 2018 team outside of Tyler fans so it was hard for everyone to understand. The same goes with this 2024 team. Trey haralson is probably they best wr in his class in east Texas and def top 10 in the state in his class. Cadarius Mcmiller at RB is one of the top RB in the country in his class. I believe he sat out of 7 on 7 to get prepared for the season. But they didn’t really need him because the amount talent we had in the backfield outside of him. Add in the district offensive newcomer of the year at QB with a senior led defense. I’m gonna go bold this year and say we go 9-1 no worse than 8-2 with our only loss to HP or to HP and red oak. The only reason I think we beat red oak is because we are playing in Tyler.

Tyler high could very well be the dark horse of the region this year, and next. Woods is doing a great job of turning around that DEBACLE left by Holmes.

This district will end up in this order.

1 highland park

2 Burleson centennial

3 Tyler

4 red oak

Thinking Tyler will find their stride in playoffs, if they can get by cedar park, or lake belton in 1st round..skies the limit.

Very possible. I like Tyler high vs Burleson centennial's run game. The game is in Tyler as well.

I watched Judson vs 3 Lakes in Tyler this past year. Judson won both games but was pretty impressed by 3 Lakes 8th grade squad.

Maybe I’m missing on something but you’re not the first person to give burleson centennial some love. Almost every news outlet has them at 5th or worst. What are we missing about them? I personally had them in 5th.

I had it in this order

1. HP- Shouldn’t be no worse than second, but if caught on a bad day by Tyler or red oak or both could slide to third.

2A. Red Oak -Could be first, second or third

2B. Tyler- Could Be first, second or third

4. Midlothian- Don’t think they have enough talent to go higher than 4th.

5. Burleson- Bad luck of the draw being in  a top heavy district, they will compete for the 4th spot.

6. Cleburne- Just don’t have enough talent to compete any district let alone one of this level.

7. Joshua- They have nightmares every night about why they didn’t stay down.

This team will do 2018 things except with a way better staff. I wouldn’t be shocked if Tyler went 3-4 rounds deep no matter where they land in the playoffs. I think our district will be the two teams in the regional championship.

Woods is the coach the Lee people wantd.  Plenty were unhappy when it all shook out.  Straight facts he was the better hire.

They had good freshman classes several times the last few years and they don't know what to do with the kids, play them in wrong position, never get the right ones on the field together.  Same story, all the time.  Yawn.

When legacy was good and beat cujo or just say they had a better season than cujo the fans over there will say only because legacy got our players but when we not good and cujo beat us or have a better season we don't hear that...But if you gone say that then say it for both schools now ive had family that played at tyler high threw the years and they supposed to been playing at legacy 🤷 it's not just one way now.I can name a few

The problem at legacy is we just don't have the does like we used to have when I played and and even before that is was about the big offensive line, good running backs and good defense.I graduated in 2009 but that 2009 team was like the last good team they had they didn't have the best record but went 3 round in the playoffs and after they graduated legacy havent been the same..Years later even when we had zach hall and chance amie we could score on anybody but couldn't stop anybody.

Please tell me a key player since 2009 that wasn’t a homegrown player from our side of Tyler? We ain’t getting people that just are dying to live on the north side lol. 🤣🤣. Legacy middle schools for the last few years have had the better players come up and they still can’t win??? While Tyler is over here rocking with one middle school part of another one. Making waves on dfw news outlets and state news? Make it make sense.. lol. We doing it with less there is no excuse for legacy.

Bro yall just had two of best running backs at legacy ever had and yall could muster up 5 and 6 wins?? With the resources yall have, it’s more a coaching thing than players. Y’all have the numbers. The board for TISD is always trying to get a brand name hire for legacy instead getting the RIGHT coach for those kids.

Exactly the kids are there so it’s not a talent problem.

Totally agree with this! Legacy has/will be getting kids. They can't keep a coach and Tisd micromanage them to death 💀!

I really don’t know why Cen10 is being underestimated..they were young last season, with  very strong sub-varsity, and freshman classes ready to fill in the gaps this season…I’ve seen them, and was impressed..especially the soph QB..he is mobile, and can spin it with velocity, and accuracy. Very good coaching staff adapting offense to his strengths.
their defense will be stellar as well.
I do think Tyler is very much on the move, which, to me..makes this district very interesting, it will be a battle royal with the top 5 teams!

This 100%.  They got themselves what they want this time tho.  A coach that loves to politic.  He make sure he is buddies with certain ppl.  Gave certain kids awards and snubbed others who put up the real numbers.  It won't change the results, but it will keep admin happy for a while.  Same 'ol same 'ol.

I got Cen10 4th, they are actually changing the offense up a bit and although I think it fits the personnel better, it IMO takes away from the schematic edge they've had with the offense.....I think Midlothian is the one who takes a step back in 2024..

Tyler gets a big edge IMO because they get Red Oak and Cen10 in Tyler this year
