Well Doomer’s ex-girlfriend’s second cousin’s fourth husband’s rehab sponsor’s stepdaughter’s baby daddy’s former cellmate says that the guy was auditioning for a spot on ESPN GameDay alongside Kirk Herbstreet. Word is, Nick Saban is pushing hard to add him to the roster.

The Wolf Den
Results after Week 1. Teams are ordered by total score differential. DCTF ranking is beside school name. _____________________________________________ #69 Joaquin 1-0 (0-0) def. Frankston 65-44 Despite a slow start, ending the first quarter trailing 0-10, the Rams exploded scoring 20+ the final 3 quarters for the highest point total in our district this week. According to DCTF, Frankston was projected to win by 22 points. Instead, Joaquin won by 21, the largest margin of victory this week. (+21) KTBS Joaquin vs. Frankston #4 Timpson 1-0 (0-0) def. West Sabine 39-22 The reigning 2A state champion Bears were determined to defend their home field starting the game 21-0 before a 60yd run before halftime cut the lead to 21-8. After a scoreless 3rd, the score was 21-16. JJ Garner refused to play in a close game as the Bears scored 18 in the 4th to bring the game to a close. According to DCTF, Timpson was projected to win by 26. Despite missing the mark, they had the second largest margin of victory this week. (+17) KLTV Timpson vs. West Sabine #38 Shelbyville 1-0 (0-0) def. Troup 53-40 As expected the Dragons, led by Dj Barnes, put up numbers. They came out hot leading to a 21-6 lead in the 1st. Some resistance came as the score was 40-33 in the 3rd, but they were able to pull away with a strong win against a tough opponent. According to DCTF, Troup was projected to win by 17. Instead, Shelbyville won by 13, our 3rd largest margin of victory. (+13) KLTV Shelbyville @ Troup #5 Garrison 1-0 (0-0) def. Waskom 21-20 Eager to prove they are still looking to compete in 2A, the Bulldogs were able to pick up a close win against the Wildcats. Trailing in the 1st, 0-8, they bounced back scoring twice to make it a 14-8 game at half. Special teams was the deciding factor as Garrison picked up the win by 1. According to DCTF, Garrison was projected to win by 18. Even though they didn’t hit their projection, they are definitely excited to pick up the win. (+1) KETK Garrison @ Waskom #60 Hemphill 0-1 (0-0) loss Kountze 20-37 In their first game as a newly classified 2A, the Hornets couldn’t take home the win. The Lions were able to avenge their loss against them last year. I hear two Hemphill Hornets exited the game on a stretcher and I’d like to send my prayers to them as they recover. According to DCTF, Kountze was projected to win by 7. They exceeded that pulling away by 17. (-17) 12News Hemphill @ Kountze #40 San Augustine 0-1 (0-0) loss Beckville 12-37 The Wolves weren’t able to get it done against the Bear Cats. Despite trading first play touchdowns, the Wolves trailed 12-25 at half. SA weren’t able to put the ball in the end zone again, leading to a 12-37 defeat. According to DCTF, Beckville was projected to win by 16. They added 9 more to the total winning by 25.
