He absolutely chose an excellent school in Michigan to continue his education and play for football power. Michigan recruiting will be back to Kilgore after they see Jaydens talents.

Congratulations to Jayden he got his commitment done he can concentrate on being an absolute Beast his Sr year

Kilgore obviously has the toughest Week 1 matchup against Carthage. I wish there was a way both would lose but have the edge going to Kilgore.

Henderson has Athens meh

nac vs Palestine seems interesting

Chapel Hill ?

Lindale ?

Pine Tree ?

I know nothing of Mabank!

Who does everyone else got?

This should be a really good game. It's probably going to be the toughest competition that either team faces until December. Kilgore's defense could be epically good this year. Carthage is gonna Carthage.

Kilgore and Carthage match up extremely well. It'll be hard to pick one or another in this game.

Chapel Hill

Kilgore

Lindale

Pine Tree

Top 2 are really really good this year. Lindale was good last year and will carry over this year. Pine Tree loses a lot on defense but will take the 4th spot. Henderson and Palestine are capable of being good but need more time.

Only 42 on the roster?  Seems light.

I bet quality is far better than the quantity! However, a good program like Kilgore should have no problem having kids ! Man I think I am about to 🤢

If I remember correctly it was also 42-ish on JV and close to that on Freshman.

C Hill has Jasper-what do we think about that one

This will be a good one.. Jasper known to play good defense. And CH will be breaking in OL... Give me Jasper 28-21, CH drops off this year. Backfield will be looking forward to the next level

I'm late to the party

District 9-4A D1:

1. Kilgore - Really good team, looked dominant in 7on7

2. Lindale - Looked very young in 7on7 but they are lindale and always reload and beat people with coaching and physicality on the OL

3. Chapel Hill - Lost OL, Backfield looking forward to CFB, I see them dropping games in the regular season, dont let them get hot

4. Pine Tree - Not sure, looks to be tough but cant put a whole season together

5. Palestine - New coach, new offense, no qb from what i can tell from last year, no stud rb

6. Henderson - "Night and day" supposedly, will believe it when i see it

7. Mabank - I love my school but not sure they will have a JV team by the end of the year after getting slaughtered that much

Thoughts, glad to represent mabank on these threads

As far as mabank goes, supposedly we are running our 1950's offense from the shotgun this year. Praying for a healthy season. I know what are record is gonna be, not going to share it though (Its obvious)
