Former Jacksonville QB

Not shocking.
Sad.  But not shocking.

Jacksonville struggled mightily in 5A for a loooong time.

They finally dropped down to 4A.....where they struggled mightily.

Now their back to 5A........

Considering as a sophomore he was just a few yards away from breaking the Carthage record for passing yards in a single season. He threw 44 touchdown passes. Yea I think so.

Gilmer has a state championship winning QB returning. How's that gonna play out. It's 2006 all over again. 🤔

The good news is tennison didn't want to play quarterback last year and is very happy now he can play defense full time

Damn. He didn't want to play qb, but he excelled at the position. He played the position so great. He won a state championship. Not bad playing a position you don't want to play.

Did he play not play varsity football at Jville last year?  Because if he did, doesn't he have to sit a year out?

If a kids parents physically move and the PAPF is filled out and the DEC determines the move was NOT for athletic purposes or the previous school does not contest the move then the kid is eligible to play. People move for a variety of reasons and as long as there is no "recruiting" involved or there was not a discipline issue at the previous school, then I don't see what the problem is.

This is Randy’s other son? Did they move to Gilmer? Isn’t he on the school board at JVille?

This is Randy's son. Yes the entire family moved to Gilmer.  And I don't have a clue if he was on the school board.
