I think Blanco is either telling a big lie about not knowing the rules or the pitching coach is liable for not telling him the rules. I think he can pitch well enough without cheating, he must be reading Gaylord Perrys book but didn't read the part about not getting caught

I just don't get it. Logic HAS to enter the equation at some point.........well...guess not The Astros have many failures from many players in this lineup one being Alvarez not hitting like he has the last few years. Bregman stinks all around even in the field Abreu stinks worse than he did last year the pitching If they get sore 2 to 3 weeks off, Diaz is not hitting like he did last year whenever everybody sang his praise including me Altuve yes is either hot or cold more cold than hot Presley poor thing gives up everything before he decides to find his strike out pitch so the RV pitching that’s was going to save us in the seventh eight and ninth it’s no longer lights out but lights on. The Astros could come back and put it all together. I don’t really see that happening but it could since we are in a weak division.

THSfanatic
All the injuries the Astros have avoided for 6-7 years are hitting all at once. I guess we have been lucky up to now. Still no excuse for the lackluster play, but it is evident this is not a Championship level team. Abreu is the new Maldonado and the total meltdown of Pressley have just sealed the fate as far as I'm concerned. Not going to beat a dead horse after the run we've been on but the take-it-for-granted approach of management neglecting the starting pitching this year was almost criminal. Gonna lose Bregman after this year (ehhhhh...not as big a deal as i thought) and almost certainly gonna lose Tucker at the end of next. The loss of Tucker will gut this team. Via MLBonFax Bauer will help stabilize the pitching staff some we just got to get the hitters to bounce out of their funk, as much as I loved the Abreu signing he has been a disaster and Singleton the bat flipper is not a good replacement. They need to go on a run after the All-Star break, losing games in the closing innings because the relief staff cannot close out the game will not help. THSfanatic
Astros are rolling the dice with a Hail Mary call up of Double AA phenom Jake Bloss who has been dominating in AA pitching only a year after being drafted. I like the move. See what you got and quit trying to fool yourselves with the JP Frances of the world. We will see how this goes. Got nothing to lose with almost every SP hurt.
