What the left doesn't realize is there are many women that live to fulfill their noble calling of being a mother and wife while their man supports them.

Some would argue it's the most noble calling, and many men appreciate and elevate the women in their lives that do that stuff.

As shown by the writer of this article it is the worst calling a woman could do, and she should make something of herself to be successful.  She can do it without Harrison Butker and he's holding her back making her live barefoot and pregnant.

I wonder what someone like the author would have thought about the type of chivalry exhibited the night Titanic sank. You know...the "women and children first" protocol, men escorting and helping women into boats, etc.

Could just save this thread to point out why women have increasingly voted for Democrats over the last 20 years...😏

If you take this as disparaging women, you are severely misreading most or all of the comments.

If your expert opinion writer would have read Butker's words instead of reading between the lines he would have seen that what Butker was saying is it's okay for a woman to seek a career, but if she chooses to be a homemaker there isn't any reason as your author presented to downgrade them the way he did.  There is nothing wrong with a strong woman that can raise a family and support her husband in his endeavors and he with her as well.  Marriage is not about slavery, it is about freedom to allow them to be the woman they want to be.  You simply don't see his condescending attitude towards her.

You’re arguing with someone who believes it’s okay for men to dress up as women, win beauty pageants over women, compete and win sporting events over women.

That’s the same person acting like it’s degrading to women for someone to say being a homemaker is a good thing.

Here is the funny thing, if a woman can be a homemaker, that means the man probably makes enough money to support his family.

That used to be about 70% of married couples in America.  Now that is about 3%.

The city of Kansas City doxxed Butker revealing where he lives…and the NFL confirmed that they are a league that doesn’t allow free speech….https://www.foxnews.com/sports/kansas-city-apologizes-doxing-chiefs-harrison-butker-faith-based-commencement-speech

again…. I say that if Butker were extolling the virtues of Muslim faith and culture…you would be hearing crickets

There's simply no appeasing the left. Ask them. They'll tell you.

And the thing is, a lot of women used to WANT to be homemakers.

There's nothing wrong with it, despite what the Left says. In fact, it's extremely noble.

I am amazed that you guys don't "people watch" enough these days. I you start looking at the generation that is probably between the ages of 25-40, you will that a lot of females are taking the road to being a housewife again. Many women are having more than 1 or 2 children, up to 5 & 6 now. Staying at home to take care of the family due to the high cost of daycare, and they are also homeschooling their kids until they get to middle school and are harder to handle. I am not saying this about ALL younger families, but spend some time out "people watching" and see if a simple majority are not looking like what I have described.....

I agree to an extent of what he was saying. Women have a privilege to be able to have children and a responsibility to be a wife. However, I don’t embrace the catholic religion nor do i believe you shouldn’t work outside of the home. He was saying his opinion and we shouldn’t be triggered by it.

So what part of what he said do you not agree with?

You also left out that they think abortions are a wonderful things too, and any woman that has one is brave.

Try to fit in NOBLE one more time.

That speaks a lot about your Mother especially after Mother's Day.  Does the left even celebrate Mother's Day since accomplishments outside of the home seem far more important than raising a family.
