Diehard
If Garner comes back to be similar to what he was pre injury then the Bears will be formidable for sure cuz he is huge difference maker for any team but Timpson lost a TON of talent to graduation….several teams hoping to be better this year will be dependent on younger guys developing and stepping up to fill roles….chemistry and adjusting to new staffs will be a factor as well

Valhalla
Garrison SA Waskom Honey Grove Those are the potential challenges IMO.
PeanutKing74
Yall are wild up on SA. They have won 5 games in three years. Doesn't matter how much talent you believe they have that program has no winners in it anymore. They are far removed from playing for state titles. Timpson is the team to beat until garrison decides to take a step up and finally play for a title.
MattStepp
Garrison and Honey Grove IMO are the two to watch....I do think SA will be better but not better to the point where they are a regional contender...
nationalpastime
You essentially lost your entire offensive staff in the off-season and probably the biggest piece of what got y'all a ring. What was that kid's name anyway? Mr. Texas Football? Anywho, SA should be up, Garrison is licking their chops...if I remember correctly Honey Grove brings back just about everyone. Sir you are forgetting the biggest thing literally and physically being brought back. Waskom brought back Daniel Swaim. Some people might say yeah BFD. And those people that say that wouldn’t know greatness if it took a dump in their house. And that is something that Daniel Swaim will be completely happy to do. So region 3 you better be ready cause Timpson won’t be the only bear dancing around the sidelines on a Friday night.
GrayBear
TImpson beat Waskom and Honey grove by 60! Beat SA by 70! And honestly probably could have been worse in all three games. Timpson may not be as good but will still be formidable and the others may be better but that’s a lot to make up in one year. And all you SA guys, you lost to Timpson on every level so who’s coming up that is better than what they got coming? Garrison is the only one that was close and they graduated heavy as well. Won’t be as easy as maybe it has been but it’s still Timpson region to lose IMO.

If I remember right, Honey Grove kind of fizzled out when they faced stiffer competition last serason .... what they are bringing back couldn't deal with the best teams in the region last season, they would have to really step it up if they want to get past our district .... HG will be hyped up again to start the season. Once Marlin out athletes them & Winnsboro out classes them, the hype train will slow down. They think they have the district crown locked up already since Cooper graduated several good ones & Pewitt has been down. It wouldn't shock me to see Cooper still beat them & Pewitt beat them as well.

Most of the guys causing those scores walked across the stage and got their diploma a couple of weeks ago.
