Not really I know number 4 tonight  for Gilmer looked good at receiver. Anyone know what his name is? I’ve never seen Gilmer scrimmage with numbers on their jerseys.

I believe it was Solomon, he’s a Jr. we played a lot of underclassmen last night getting reps as first yr varsity guys.

Did Gilmer play a lot of kids in rotation?  I expected Gilmer to somewhat dominate Whitehouse based on how they looked last week vs Carthage.

Yeah Gilmer didn't suit out several starters at all. Looked like Tennison, G, Webb, and some others were in street clothes on the sidelines watching. Played a lot of underclassmen last night.

A single 12 minute quarter with running clock?

They did several controlled series between all three teams 1s, 2s and JV. Then Pewitt did one live quarter with QC and then turned around and did a live quarter with Hawkins. Honestly PP looked a little tired towards the end of the Hawkins quarter.

I'm asking if QC gave up 21 in one quarter with a running clock?

Crawford fell off last year, not encouraged by this result

This might be the smallest Crawford team I have ever seen. No size on the line will not help them plus the corners were 5'5 tops. They struggled to do pretty much anything and they couldn't stop Bremond at all. They are young and will go through growing pains for sure. If they do make the playoffs it will be the 4 seed imo behind Marlin, Riesel, Bruceville-Eddy. If they have a bad game Rosebud could beat them but one thing I know is to never count out a Crawford team. They will not lay down for anyone.

I know Pewitt was by far the better team. QC had size and some speed but just didn't seem to get any results. Hawkins has a QB that can throw and some decent sized receivers. Not a lot of numbers or big kids but they played hard from start to finish.

how did each team look? if you don’t mind me asking

Kilgore scrimmaged @ Center last night.... 3 live quarters... no kick returns, no punt returns. It ended 14-13 Kilgore, but Center led most of the night. Kilgore played 2's and a few 3's for about half the snaps on both sides.... Center probably rotated too, but it looked like 1's on offense for the most part.

Both offenses had some bright spots, but a lot of snafu's with bad snaps, ill-advised throws and penalties.

Center's scores were on a fly route that got behind us and went for 90 yards, the other was a pick-6.

Kilgore's scores were on a blocked FG returned for a TD and a 15-yd run after a 60 yd gain on a screen.

Center has a very good athlete at QB (again) and a good RB... some fast WR's. O-line didn't look great, but Kilgore's D-line is really good..... 1's and 2's. Center's defense looked a lot better than last year. Hope this helps.

EF JV scored 4 times. Harmony JV scored 3 times.

EF varsity 1’s scored 1 time in controlled. Harmony varsity 1’s didn’t score.

In live Qtr it ended 0-0.

Harmony’s backups scored 2 or 3 times and EF backups didn’t score.

EF varsity 1’s beat the Eagles. Harmony was not physical at all. But they had some great looking kids. Great Job Jackets just keep getting better every week.

Well I guess we will get dominated by yall again

LOL.  When you two play in late Nov or early Dec, both teams will be firing on all cylinders and it will be just like last year.  Two heavy weights going blow for blow.

We lost a really solid OL from last year.
