My freshman yr, varsity beat them in '92. I played varsity 3 years and we beat them in '93, '94. All very good and competitive games. In '96, Jefferson absolutely stunned them in Daingerfield 20-0 if im not mistaken. This was a decent to good Jefferson team. But D-field had Bubba and Duke. Still don't know how Jefferson kept them out of the end zone and rushed for over 400 yards. By the way, we 13-1 in '94 losing to Atlanta . Sadly, that's the furthest we've been since 1994 I stand corrected and won't dispute what you say. 1986 is what I remember. Nonetheless good luck to Jefferson Friday night and maybe something will get scheduled down the road or atleast a scrimmage to tune up for the season. Drop Grand Saline, add Jefferson and keep Atlanta(scrimmage) 3

MeanGreenDogs64 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Yall made me go pull out the photo albums. 2005 we upset Daingerfield. They struggled to stop the veer/triple option. I remember going up against Ken Lee the whole game (pic below) Dude was a hoss. They also had a LB that was pretty good. 1

Kid was super fast in pads but didn't dominate track

Kinda strange to have played that many games (57) dating back to the early 1930s and then just stop scheduling each other. 1
