Stankylegg Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 (edited) Chapel Hill this season: W - Jasper 56-20 W - Gilmer 33-29 Jasper beat Palestine 35-21 Gilmer lost to Pine Tree 22-15 Whitehouse this season: W - Dallas Wilson 48-7 L - Kilgore 27-7 Dallas Wilson beat Frisco Memorial 19-14 Kilgore beat Carthage 20-15 Edited September 7, 2024 by Stankylegg
Stankylegg Posted September 7, 2024 Author Posted September 7, 2024 CH has put together two wins against very good teams. WH will be even harder than their first two opponents simply because they have more depth. WH always seems to pull away in the 2nd half of games against CH. Gotta turn it up another notch this week.

WH's defense is pretty good. WH's offense is not. The tall kid that played QB for them in the 1st half didn't play a snap in the 2nd half against us. I don't know if he got banged up or if they just decided to try something else.
Lion7000 Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Whitehouse! Hadn’t seen these two play for a while! Rivalry any good ? Is it competitive?

Usually it’s the other way around.

CH will win this one. WH has no offense. Their starting QB got an ankle injury in 2nd quarter of Kilgore game. The 2nd string QB was not prepared to play, not good coaching. They have a D1 commit to TCU, 6'2 190 playing safety. He should be utilized on offense for another option. It's going to be tough for WH to win another game with no offense.

MattStepp Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 This is a fun rivalry, glad its not at Rose and it'll full house at the campus stadiums

Anyone know the series record? I surprised they stopped but you got teams like nac/ lufkin and Longview/ Marshall playing!
GoodOleBoy73 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 CH wins...but it's closer than people expect.

If CH doesn't clean up the penalties and special teams mistakes this week, then the game will be much closer than it has to be! Looking forward to this one. Give me CH by 10+

Is it meh , heated or like nac/lufkin ( in name only) 1
CHDog77 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 (edited) Used to be pretty intense! Blue collar versus white collar.....so to speak. CH dominated the series for the longest. WH had the upper hand during the most recent years. Moved the games to Rose Stadium to allow for a neutral field. They haven't played in several years. Glad they are rekindling the rivalry! The schools are literally 10 minutes apart. Edited September 10, 2024 by CHDog77 1

WH scored late to take the win, if my memory serves me correctly?! Edited September 10, 2024 by CHDog77 1
OLEMAN Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 Got to go with Chapel Hill. I don’t hear much about Whitehorse thus I assume they are only average. I just don’t much about them. Kind of ashamed I know so little about them.

But you’re interested in facts so keep trolling someone who cares!

JugLine Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Ch has some discipline issues. I’ve never seen so many penalties. 7-0 wh 1
