I'm picking south oak cliff in a close one. they are already battle tested. they faced the two top team in the state.

I got to see Longview play against Marshall and no disrespect to Longview the game really got bad late third quarter.

I think SOC isn't one dimensional  like Marshall is.

Fair statement. I won’t crucify you for your opinion because I’m a Lobo either.

Longview's offense needs to step it up this week and defense needs to continue the dominance. Seems like the play calling on offense has been 1 dimensional. Maybe still working out the kinks or just holding back, but they need to come out strong, set the tone early and not let up. If they can, I see Lobos winning at home by at least a touch down.

Continuously running up the middle won’t get it done this week or the next 4 weeks. Gotta switch something up.

Gone have to play Trey if we want to have a shot of winning because Longview will not beat SOC without throwing it

We at least have to pose some kind of threat to throw. If not we will not score points.

Longview will win.

As great as SOC is rated by many and them playing 6A teams in non district, they are still just a 5A DII football school.  It's like PNG coming to Lobo to play, it would be an obvious choice to pick Longview.  Who likes getting demolished by teams who are two classifications above you?  I don't know many school who do that, SOC evidently thinks its beneficial for their program later in the year.  I think SOC will have a tough time in Loboland.

The playing field in that Longview district got leveled quite a bit with Rockwall losing their star QB to an ACL injury.

If I was confident in our offense and our offensive play calling i’d 100% expect us to win this one by multiple scores. I am just not very confident in it whatsoever lol maybe they change my mind tomorrow. Good measuring stick game for sure.

I just can't figure out why we run up the middle nearly every play.

That's why the play action is usually wide open for Longview. They just need to hit a few of those against SOC and let the defense take care of the rest.

Y'all are acting like Rowe wasn't 7 for 7 last week with some excellent footwork to go with it. The two fumbles really hurt, but that can be addressed by King (hopefully). I wasn't too high up on Rowe for this season, but honestly, I think both our QBs are very capable. I pray both stay healthy, but, God forbid, if there is an injury, the other definitely still has the ability to create some highlights.

I pick Longview in this one. I voted it as a close one, but I don't think a 21+ point victory is out of the question if they can get themselves up for the game. If the Lobos come in flat, they could also very well get beat in this game.
