My point kids played extremely hard on both sides and both coaches made some head scratching decisions

Yeah, when these 2 teams go at it, it comes down to the end. And I don’t think the home team has lost in a long time.

I certainly didn’t understand the extra point when up 23-22.  Even after the illegal motion, you still have to go for two.

As for the pooch kick, I think it was just poor execution.  The intention was to kick not to go that far and either hit the turf or put the returner in a coffin corner. It just went too far and to the wrong guy.
but if Gilmer isn’t offside on the kickoff, it’s a moot point.

Would love to watch a closeup replay on whether the sack on Gilmer's QB with about 2:00 minutes left was actually a facemask or not............The Kilgore coach didn't think so............Those 32 yards in penalties gave Gilmer a boost.

Here is the shot I got of that play. You make the call.

I was 25 yds away from that play when it happened and in real time it was as clean a sack as you could ever hope for. Watching replays of it I can see where our guy might have grazed his facemask on his first pass, but even in slow-mo on youtube  you can't really tell if our guy even touched the facemask. For the white hat to throw that flag in that situation from his angle.... ? Let the players decide the game. And then the side judge tacks on another 15 yards because our HC questioned the call? Grow thicker skin son.

Regardless of the outcome, both teams got better tonight. Iron sharpens iron.

Coach did a lil more then question the call! He’s gotta not say what he said, and he’s gotta manage clock better at the end. Spike the ball kick FG and walk away a with a win. Emotions get many of us

If you continue the video you will see he was miraculously healed and sprinted off field!  Glory to the one that healed him so quickly. Praise be 😃

Coach probably told them to do it the first time and forgot to tell them not to do it again

He is a flat-out stud! Good luck to y'all down the road. Y'all flat-out got hosed last night along with some horrendous coaching. Y'all definitely have the dudes to win state if coaching doesn't get in the way.

Thanks to Kilgore for making us better. I really saw 2 gritty football teams last night that BOTH had strange coaching decisions made and BOTH had very questionable calls go against.  We will improve from this game and so will Kilgore. And I would have said that even if the outcome had been different.  Best of luck to you down the road.

That will be PG @ Kilgore.   This score may end up 2-0.   Both D’s very good.

We played PG last night and to be honest nothing about them impresses me. It should of been 14-14 at half but 4 first half miscues and fumble recovery for TD allowed that. Obv Jackson is the motor on that D, so chip help here and there and it won't be close

lol The Red Zone has been awful under Coleman! In fact here in East Texas, there aren't any good sports cast on local tv anymore! There coverage is very limited. Just my opinion.

Remember the short-lived “Blitz” show on Fox 51 in the 2000s? They did a great job. Wish they could get something like that going again. But with all the streaming and highlights on social media, it’s almost pointless now.
