Saw this for NFL done and thought why not have some fun with high school, so if you can choose one past player for both sides of the ball to add to your current team who would it be and why?

Longview Lobo LB Leon Bell from 1997. The dude was an All-American that would flat out baptize opponents from the defensive side and when he was used as a FB on offense he would absolutely slaughter the defensive opponents and they were riding his back 3-4 yards down the field before you could bring him down.

SA Wolves KJ Davis 2014-2017. Big part of us getting to the semi finals his senior year, he ended with close to 2,700 all purpose yards and 37 tds. 5’9 185 RB and one of the best I’ve seen with the ball. He was ridiculously agile and quick but wasn’t scared to run through tackles. Owns virtually every SA rushing record, went to TJC but it didn’t work out.

Too Many for Daingerfield to single out just one.  Everyone is going to say Thomas Everett and I understand why.  But to me it would be Steve Stutsman.  Parade All-American back in the day.  Only thing he didn't do was kick off and I'm sure he could have handled that as well.

For Pewitt I would say Jesse Harrison.  Only player I know of to make Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Grew up playing against Jesse in virtually every sport (he graduated a year before me). Those PP teams were tough, with the Williams kid at QB also

Question about that game in '98 vs HS (I think it was 98). Do you think Mart still goes on to win if Bobby Bruce doesn't break his leg for HS? [Foggy memory but I think HS was up 7 and driving down to go up 14 when it occured]

Chan Amie Waskom 2012-2015 FB/LB had over 500 tackles and 4,006 yards in his career. rushing 2600+ yards and 40 tds 212 tackles his senior year.  Lost 5 games in 4 years.

Takes a special dude to make the 10-1 not completely suck.

Tremaine Mack (CHHS 93) RB/DB.....All Big East at Miami.....ProBowl Special Teams his rookie season (Cincinnati Bengals).... unfortunately legal troubles derailed his pro career. Heckuva player!

Great player, I played against him in 92 for Jax, we stuffed him 4 times in a row on the goal line and we won, after we got the ball he was lined up at nose guard trying to knock the ball loose from our center when he snapped the ball

The big QB and LB on one of P P's deep playoff runs(maybe won state) was really good also........Thinking his name was Jimmy Wilkerson, but definitely not sure on the name.

I remember that game! If I remember correctly.....that kicked off a decade of success for Danny Long and the Indians. Sure wish JHS could become competitive again. The upgrades they did for the Tomato Bowl deserves more wins!
