Any update on Bris?

No.....but whoever lines up behind center will need to have a good game in order to compete with Carthage. CH can't be 1 dimensional or they will get embarrassed by Carthage. CH defense will have to play their best game to date as well. Hats off to Riordan for scheduling a super challenging pre district schedule.

P.S...... I have no idea why CH scheduled Carthage for their homecoming opponent 😅

Going to be a tough night for the yellow dawgs. Surrat is smart and will have a plan to shut down our simple offense. I don’t expect them to suddenly spread the field on offense after riding the coattails of Stuart and B for 3 years.

My fear is greater for next year. Zero development of a passing game or a QB may haunt us next year.

Untik then we can enjoy the Stuart/brisbon show lol

Maybe QB1 injury will let the junior backup get his feet wet.....he's certainly looks the part of a starting QB (big and tall, plays basketball, good athlete). Not sure about his accuracy but looks to have decent arm strength. We shall see.....

I think it’s more likely Carthage has a lop sided win this week than CH.   I really don’t know what to expect from CH.  The offense does seem very vanilla, but maybe that’s on purpose during pre-district.  Defense really struggled against a solid o-line and run game last week.

Agreed....and if they can't get a handle on the turnovers and penalties it'll be a long night indeed.

If Carthage has every thing clicking they will play Chapel Hill better than the Kilgore game,Kilgore got lucky, I pick the Red Dawgs in this one by alot, Chapel  Hill can win it but it's a hard task playing a good team and the brains of Surrat, tough task you will know not to pick up that phone the next time 😂 😂 😂

I thought the yellow dogs were supposed to be really salty this year?  Like top 5 D1 salty?

I don't know if Chapel Hill is as good as last year but I think they got the fast QB and the RB but don't know on there Defense which makes this game interesting.

Not what I expected when I opened this thread.

I still have some question marks about the Carthage Dawgs, but I thought for sure the Yellow Dawgs were gonna be pretty good this year.

I was expecting a close hard fought game similar to the Kilgore matchup.

I think it will be. As undisciplined and lacking leadership as the yella dawgs are, they still have speed and offensive weapons. Brisbone being out, if he is still out, hurts. He's a weapon, no doubt. I just think Carthage takes it. Since it's in TCH, I say Carthage by 10. Maybe TCH takes it. Who knows.

Was wondering how you thought! I believe yellow dogs will give y’all a game, but ultimately Dawgs will prevail.

C Hill’s QB playing or not playing will make a difference.
Carthage’s d-lineman playing or not playing will make a difference.
