Considering the quality and rankings of these teams, there sure hasn’t been much discussion on this thread of their upcoming game against each other tomorrow night. Is it because they haven’t played each other lately and the two fan bases aren’t thus very familiar with their team’s opponent this week?

I think both have already had big games that got a lot of headlines.  That hurts both this week from a headlines standpoint.

I think both fan bases know just how good either team is. I think most give Carthage the edge respectfully. I also remember a few years back when a not so talented ch team broke carthages winning streak at home.

It’ll be a great game. I’m hoping the yellow dogs can squeeze a win.

I think some of it is it’s Carthage so some aren’t giving TCH much of a chance.

I can guarantee, if I wasn’t at Lindale/Gilmer I’d be going to TCH. I think it’s gonna be a fireworks show!

I just can’t see it. Would love for it to happen but Chill not healthy has been a key factor!

I agree. I don’t think TCH wins, but they definitely have a chance. Too many athletes and too much speed for them to get blown out.

Is Brisbon playing or staying out until district play next week?

Seeing him with an arm in a sling this week……no. Also starting DT on crutches. Been a rough start.

Dang, hate to see that!

CH can use it as an excuse to slack off or as motivation to give a little extra.  Champions figure it out no matter what.  2011 champions had a ton of injuries early in the season, but they still went 15-0.

Yup.....starting QB (probably best QB CH has ever had) broke his ankle against Carthage in the second game I believe. Curious to see what kind of game plan they dial up for QB2. We need a game manager and keep the passing game simple. Need some timely completions to keep them honest. Our defense is gonna have to play steller as well. This will be a good measuring stick for CH......win or lose.

I don’t get why it has been either. The head coach is the QB coach. You would think after several years with this quarterback, there would be development in the passing game.
this match up regardless will be a good one! Two very talented teams! It will come down to coaching/game preparation.

this has to be a classic example of Coach knowing something  that others don't know. Two semifinals and a title game appearance in the past 3 seasons supports that.

just saying.......
