I just noticed, this is homecoming too! Man. That’s a bold move to make this game HC, especially with that weak district. That could work for, or against the tigers. Will they show up big for homecoming? Or will lack of focus be the next excuse.

This is the one time that I think the play of the other team dictates the outcome as much as us.

Meaning, I think we almost always control our destiny, but in this case it goes both ways. If D'field plays well, they could beat you even if you play well due to athletic ability across the board. On the other hand, they give games away traditionally due to lack of discipline. With that said, I think they were better in that area last year due to having more higher character kids. I don't know about this year. Not saying there aren't good kids on every team, just meaning you can't have too many bad attitudes per team and be successful, which has happened often with them. The coaching doesn't get them over the hump for sure.

I'll hope we can compete and pull the upset, but either way, should be a good game.

This game is always a tossup. I expect the same this year. This game should be for the district title barring any upsets after this week.

A strong running game is always the key for success against DF. It keeps DF offense on sidelines and bleeds the clock. When DF gets behind they always seem too eager for the big play to catch up at the cost of patient execution. In order for DK to compete with DF and possibly win they stay in short 3rd down yardage and forget the deep pass completing short passes. DF speed will close quickly on deep passes with interception's every time. I pray for a respectful and injury free contest. Bears by 8.
