Grainraiser
Rockwall always struggle with teams with athletes. Playing in Longview is also going to be a factor. I picked Longview in the pickum so don't let me down.

Could SOC beat Lake Travis and could Ruston beat North Crowley? Both would be great games, but I "think" those two teams on Rockwall's schedule are better than the two teams vs. Longview. No doubt both have had to fight their way to get to this game. Gonna be a great game Friday night in Longview, Texas.

Without looking it up I would guess 2000 or 2001. That’s insane. Could be 4 in a row. Forney has looked like a shell of themselves but that roster is too talented and I think it’s only a matter of time before they click and that game is in Forney. If things don’t change I can very well see us dropping the next two. Edited October 2 by Lobo2020
Lobo2020
i’m never one to bet against my lobos but I just haven’t seen anything yet this season to be optimistic about. And it’s not because we are 2-2. Hurndon being called up could be a game changer but if you know the staff at Longview you know we won’t see him or use him near as much as we should. Same staff that only managed to get jalen hale 50 catches in back to back seasons. It just seems like the same ole story at Longview and we don’t have the freakish talent of the 23/24 classes to make up for it this time. Longview opponents #2 Ruston #4 SOC #5 Lufkin #6 Marshall Avg Opp Rank 4.25 Rockwall opponents #1 North Crowley #3 Lake Travis #7 Lewisville #8 Berkner #9 Royse City Avg Opp Rank 5.6 Schedule edge goes to Longview haha Ruston and Midland? Now that's a long drive, wow

Forney has got to a very talented team. They have a tremendous amount of athletes leading that team. Maybe the jump to 6A was a little more than they thought. Before that, it was 1971. Lobos had a chance to lose 3 in a row in 2014, but were able to hang onto a win over Neville.

O line hasn't been solid. we have a QB who can't see over the O Line. Throw in coaching has been horrendous, and yea. Not the best start. But we'll see out of the bye week.

Yes, they were blown out by North Crowley, but that’s going to happen to a ton of teams this year. They nearly beat Lake Travis at LT with their backup QB. They put up a 60 spot this week. Unless King had a come to Jesus moment, this could be an absolute blowout for our boys. But, gonna choose to believe King has seen the light and made the appropriate changes. We’ll see. My guess is King does what king does.

Well he’s a freshman and you know there’s only been one other freshman under John king to play on varsity (Jalen Hale).
